Difficult and fulfilling combat. Wide cast of bosses, general enemies, and NPC's. Great soundtrack. Distinct map locations. Exploration is rewarding and helps progress the game. The story is interesting and the LORE is fascinating. It has the platforming, it has the souls-like feel, and it has the charm. 10/10.

TL;DR masterpiece

Oneshot is presented as a (2D pixel rpg) similar to Undertale. The game is visually pleasing from the settings to the still artwork between scenes. The settings throughout the game are distinct (each with their own color palette, architecture, and cast of characters).

The characters and story is what makes this game more than special and unique on its own. Each character is memorable and offers support to both the progression of the main story and the world-building that adds to the atmosphere of the game. Especially "Niko" the main character of this game. Learning and interacting with him as the game progresses is a nice touch and adds that emotional connection.

The soundtrack is peaceful and always changes to match the current setting. Without going into spoilers, the gameplay is composed of solving puzzles in order to move on to the next section. It is not your typical puzzle solving. Let's just say that it is more "HANDS ON" for the player themselves than most games.

Overall, It's smart, funny, cute, and peaceful. I went into this game knowing nothing about it and was amazed. This game was an experience and I recommend it to anyone willing to give it a shot. "Oneshot". Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
