The negative reviews are about one thing: The previous [Male] Creative Director stepped down to work on another game and the new [Female] Creative Director came on and this is her first full mainline update.

Let's list the things she's done right in this patch:
-Several Warframes were updated to be playable in the hardest end-game content.
-Enemy Armor received an update to improve players' ability to remove it.
-New items - Shards - were added to further improve a player's ability to make their Warframe unique and fit their own playstyle.
-Protea Deluxe - How can anyone be mad?
-TONS of QoL for systems game-wide from Syndicates to background optimizations.

Players have received an update that not only answered cries, that for years went unanswered, but also an entire new gameplay mechanic with lots of freedom.

The previous Creative Director was definitely more controversial than a gun rework. Melee saw all of its iterations under him, do you not remember spin-to-win being deleted? No one review bombed then.

I think there are plenty of growing pains with Warframe and the gun rework is not polished - yet. But we've seen more positive change in a SINGLE patch from this new team.

Let's not skirt around the real issue these people have - a WOMAN altered the braindead meta to allow for greater freedom for all kinds of builds and playstyles. The haters worship on the heels of gender inequality and the entire reaction here is so much proof of that.

Onwards and upwards, Warframe community. We'll be much lighter without the bigotry.
