Oh sweet. Cosmic horrors beyond my comprehension

Sekiro has spoiled me forever. Don't think I'll ever play another game whose combat system will be as entertaining. The satisfaction and sense of accomplishment you feel when the gameplay *clicks* is so damn immense.

Also I beat Lady Butterfly first try and I shall never stop bragging about it.

Fun game overall, but...
They created a "standard edition" which did not even exist until recently on Steam just to not include the DLCs for this months Humble Choice. And funnily enough the games title is still "ultimate edition" on the library, yet it isn't. So, nah, big yikes.

Pain. Suffering perhaps. Misery even.

I'm actually not that into rogue-like/lites whatever the right term is yet Hades absolutely hooked me in. The gameplay is just top notch, very enjoyable and just won't get old. They did an amazing job with the VA, most of the characters are just so lovable and H O T . The OST is masterfully done, I found myself just stopping and listening to the music occasionally. Some of the boss fight musics are so kickass as well. Even though I played around 60 hours so far and am probably rather close to the stories end, it feels like the game still has a lot of story and content in store. The devs really did put in quite the content in game, for example, a new option gets introduced after a point in the game, which lets you alter some aspects of the game and progressively create more challenge for yourself for various rewards, which helps keep the gameplay fresh.
It also doesn't help that I'm a big sucker for Greek Myth since I was a child.

In conclusion, my pp hard for Aphrodite Hades is GOTY for me.

I played this game like a damn fiddle.

SOMA is an absolutely beautiful experience with a thought provoking and atmospheric story. I'm not that big on horror, but this game definitely got me hooked up on it. Some might say it's not that heavy on the horror side, I say it's just enough and does adequately while not relying on cheap jumpscares.
