A wonderful modernization of the legendary Age of Wonders saga. Built upon the foundations set by planetfall, you can feel the level of love and care triumph has put into this new modern era entry into the main branch of the series. Even though there's no 'Love and Death' (yet, I hope) I absolutely reommend this game to everyone, from the people like me that spent their childhood taking Julia Inioch back to the valley of wonders, to the ones that have never tried an Age of Wonders Title. Don't skip it!

The X Universe has always been there for me, building up through Xbtf and X2 to the masterpiece that was X3, I couldn't wait for the next entry in the saga, and boy was that a disappointment. After almost 8 years playing X3, Rebirth almost killed my passion for this universe. Reluctantly, I decided to give X4 a chance and it has not only resparked my love for the series, it has built upon itself to be what today is it's fourth DLC release, and the return of an iconic race.
Yes, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Amazing space sim, absolutely massive, i've seen people call it a truck simulator in space, but they fall way short, there's so much to do, so much to sink your time in, and you never feel like you're stuck, there's always a way around things, the community is awesome, yeah you get your random ganker here and there, but it's not like you can't avoid them (btw, you totally can)... oh, and the visuals, some of the things i've seen are damn stunning, best part? we haven't even seen 1% of it!! That's how massive it is. If space is your thing, join in, want to fly around and chill? go solo, play your own game, and when you feel your time is right, join open play, and marvel at the sight of dozens of ships buzzing around a space station!
