Really sad to say, but at this point I cannot recommend anything by Hi-Rez. I could totally understand a huge update that warrants calling the game a sequel, such as CS2, or Path of Exile 2. But what Hi-Rez is doing, is releasing a totally new game, wiping everything you have ever paid for over the years. They say that your purchases will be rewarded in this new title, but we all know how that goes. You will be given "legacy gems". A whole new currency to bleed you dry, just so they can rinse and repeat another 10 years down the line. 10 years of purchases, made completely worthless.

Toxic, uncaring devs will always lead to a toxic and uncaring community. With so many reports of this same issue, and the devs on constant damage control in the reviews instead of addressing these issues, it feels more like an abusive relationship with a narcissist rather than something you should be playing for fun.

Ignore the recent spam of political reviews. Games always been an instant classic.
