Great plot and characters, fun gameplay with no hand-holding and a good balanced challenge. Great visuals and solid audio. 8/10

Struggle simulator. Extremely tough, very rewarding and fun, easily worth the price.

I've played every DMC (except 2 and the reboot), grew up with DMC1 and loved it, and this is the best one yet. The only thing that's missing for me is that cool old creepy Gothic castle aesthetic. Otherwise the gameplay, writing, presentation, etc. are all great.

I honestly disliked the original RE4 despite enjoying most RE games, but this remake is one of the best games I've ever played, and I look forward to replaying it. The gameplay is extremely fun, the visuals & audio are great, the huge extensions to the plot and game world are very welcome, and it's clearly made with a lot of love throughout. This is about as good of a job as I could possibly ask for in remaking and improving a game, and it's one of the very few games I'll give a 10/10.

I can't believe they haven't patched this piece of cr*p in over a year, the pathing and collision are so bad that sieges are literally unplayable, and units in all battles regularly get into a situation where they're fighting in melee but the game thinks they're marching or idle so their fatigue recovers while they are fighting. You can achieve this pretty easily just by pressing Halt/Backspace while your unit is fighting. You also can't disengage from fights on walls, no matter how much you click, and it seems to be the same in a lot of normal combat too. This also makes the game unplayable. It's a shame because the graphics & moddability are nice but that stuff doesn't matter when the core gameplay is just broken.

Awesome game, great ending to the trilogy, and still great for newcomers. Really refined the formula laid down by Demon's Souls

Great game, especially after all of the patching done by the team. It could use more content but the core game is really fun now, and it's very engaging for at least a few campaigns, so well worth the money. Paradox made a big mistake abandoning the game right as it was getting great. Hope they change their minds in future.
