I am considering writing a series of guides entitled "Valve for dumbies". A friend who has worked in education, as a teacher in school systems and tutor outside school systems in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., once told me that I'm order to pass high school in North America you only need to be able to read at an 8th grade level.
(This is reflected in a long-standing tendency in the media to keep their writing to an 8th grade level as well. Of course it has been questioned quite a bit and there are a few articles out there for either side.)
The guides will cover many things that are already covered to death: competitive cooldowns, anti-cheats and bans, scams, VAC authentication errors, a break down of the SSA and w/e else I can come up with. They will be written in a very basic manner to facilitate understanding by as many people as possible.
