An adorable game to get kids introduced to playing video games. Even though my child has played many a VG, she loves cats so this was a perfect fit. Just to see her emote a cat making muffins or doing a big stretch is worth it. The platforming is simple but can be long and worth it, and the puzzles are straightforward because of the size of the map and its restrictions.

Incredibly fun, Mario Kart vibes but with fun drifting mechanics. The different modes help the repetition of the racing and the story mode is servicable.

The best version of FM since maybe 2017/18? I think they've made a big misstep going to a new engine for FM25. FMScout and SortItOutSI are great resources to make this game your own :)

The ultimate "I need to wind down and just enjoy things" game. There is a immeasurable level of peace and happiness, whether it be the instrumental music in the background, or the way the animals in the game interact with what you're doing, that just make the experience great.

These devs know how valuable the "one-more-round" feeling is to us players. After all, they developed an expansion to one of the best roguelike card-based RPGs ever made in "Slay the Spire." This game is slowly addictive and hits the right spots in terms of team building, item usability, and pokemon-like use of type matchups. Tons of added features to expand the run-to-run variability in difficulty and I can see myself playing this for many more hours.
