This game is Dragons Dogma, but more. The only downside is the lack of monster variety and if this counts as a spoiler to those who loved the first game, sorry.

There is technically end game, in the true ending but the problem is how short it is and lacking in actual content there is in comparison to the first game, nothing as repayable as the Everfall or bitter black isle but there is something there. I still really had fun with this game and recommend it. If you liked the first game, you will like this one, if you dislike the first one then you probably won't like this one.

Performance for me was pretty good, though I have a pretty high end PC, 4080 and a 13700k, so performance is not something I can in good conscience comment on as it is likely going to be rough for most, the game is heavily CPU bound.

All the hubbub around micro transactions are super cringe, should they be there? No, are they? Yes, and they in absolutely no way push you to wanting to buy them, and EVERYTHING you can get is easily obtained for free, save for the ferrystones, but the game wants you to explore it. Nobody complained about Resident Evil 4 having them, or even Devil May Cry 5. Them being in this game do not make the game go from great to garbage. My issue with the transactions were in a game like AC Origins, forcing you to do all the side content to get enough exp to continue the story at a certain point, pushing you to buy the exp booster to not have to do that. This game does not do this in any way, they made the game first and then added those after for those who feel so inclined to buy.
