I get it why it was a TGA nomenee. The game cicle is adcting, from the animations to the sound effects when scoring points, and watching your combo unfould.

Having around 900 hours in this game, playing it since 2016, I can say that nowadays overwatch is a shadow of what it used to be, and I can't apreciate it for what it is now.

Regardless of how you feel about how Keplan's direction with the game, starving it of content for 3 years, that was better then what it is now. If you want to have any in game reward for playing this game, you must get through a paywall every two months, otherwise, you are getting crumbs. You can thank the microtransaction-paying-whales for that. Alternatively you can work yourself to the bone playing this game like it's a resposability, in order to get the battle pass for free after 3 seasons (5 months total) every week. Which is what I did since it's launch. Some of it I regreat it, some I don't.

Put that in perspective with the old model where we could get the skins we wanted for free, just by playing.

The gameplay is still good, for what it's worth. It's what kept many of us playing it during the 'dark days of no-contentness' after all. It's still a better team-based shooter with powers, ultimates and what-a-not than what you get from games of the same genre in that regard.

The beggining of Overwatch was something special. I am sorry if you missed out.

Will I still be playing? yes, of course.

I suggest reading to rules yourself, to be better educated in the mechanics, even though, it has a good tutorial.

This is one of the best 2D platformers I have played in a long time.

It's fun, creative, and really entertaining to watch speedruns of it.

It's a 2D platformer done right.
