While somewhat outdated, it still holds up after almost 10 years. The combat is simplistic but satisfying and leading an army and personally fighting amidst your soldiers is a feeling you get only with mount and blade compared for example to the total war games. Rising in the ranks of a faction or even starting your own faction is also one of the more satisfying feelings you can get in this game. I cannot wait for the sequel.
