Insanely good.

Kenshi is a hybrid of RTS, RPG, and basebuilding with tons and tons of ways to play the game. There is no correct way of playing either. You can have a game where you play completely solo, or a game where you have a small party, even an entire army. You can kill everyone or kill almost no one. You can be a merc or a trader. An assassin or a warrior. An explorer or a bounty hunter. Its crazy the stuff you can do.

There is no "story", and you're pretty much left making your own stories as you play. At one point in my game, my party got absolutely crushed and I was just about to restart when we were saved by a giant Leviathan who killed my assailants and then just walked away.

There are however a ton of bugs. Nothing that seems utterly game breaking but lots of clipping through terrain and things like that. I've had a total of 5 hard crashes so far which is not great considering my rig has 32g of ram and a 3080ti.

It is worth it though. A game like this is hard to find nowadays. Enjoy the pain and buy yourself a copy. I'm ecstatic for Kenshi 2.
