it's important to remember that this is an EARLY ACCESS game. it's not even truly out yet, so if you aren't prepared to suffer a few bugs just let it bake a while before leaving a negative review and blaming "the state of the game industry these days". this is an extremely ambitious title and so far i have been having a lot of fun with it. it's extremely atmospheric, you really feel like a rat scampering around the feet of giants. sticking to the shadows and picking off stragglers feels immensely satisfying. the water system sounds intimidating but you can get a days worth of water in less than 10 minutes, in an hour of game time i was able to easily secure a weeks worth of water. if you like the game and play it once a week water won't be an issue. if you're having frame issues update your drivers. it's wild to see how willingly people leave negative reviews for a incredibly ambitious game by indie dev team clearly marketed as early access.

If you liked the first one you will like this one. Plays better and looks awesome, i have a 2070 and i'm getting 65 frames everywhere. I'm not sure why everyone is ragging on this game so hard, i haven't even seen an option for in game transactions either so i don't know what that's about.

i've always liked playing this game with friends but this last update has pretty much ruined it. besides the perk changes that make every killer and their mom use all the use "scourge hooks" another new mechanic next to boons that add nothing but frustration to the game, they basically reset all your progression and said they'd give us "fair" compensation for our points we spent but now i don't have anything i've spent 250 hours grinding for. most of the point of this update was supposed to make the grind smaller but i'm going to have to grind so long just to get where i was. i had every killer perk available to me unlocked on nemesis and they're idea of fair compensation is not even giving me 1 level of prestige? No thanks i think this was the final straw for me. that and they took out bonus points from perks so it will take even longer to get there than before. TLDR the game has always been alright but the new updates give the killer too much cheese and instead of being faster to level up it's slower than the crawl it was already at. You can tell no one wants to play survivor with their new "bonus points" mechanic which will give you more points to play killer or survivor if there are not many playing but there are always never enough survivors. Weird. And Attack on Titan? what haha? they didn't even give the warhammer titan a warhammer like come on. Don't even get me started on fat Eren.

not sure what everyone else is talking about, game runs great even when i'm streaming the russian take over while i play. seriously though this game is amazing and the open world aspect of it is a total game changer. that and the new elements really make it a worthy buy IMO.
