I'm leaving a bad review for this game because everyone else is doing it and I'm a follower.

This is not just any game. This type of game does not come along often. This is the type of game the developers pour everything they can into the game. CD Project Red is not in it for the money, they're in it to change the standards in the gaming industry. The price of this game is more than fair along with it's DLC's, most of which are free. This game WILL deliver a compelling story. It will fill with you desire to understand the lore, to explore every corner of the universe, to do everything you possibly can - in my case more than once. I have never replayed a game until I stumbled across this game.. and I plan on replaying it many more times. You will develop an attachment to the world and to the characters. Truly the only con I can muster is the void this game left in me when I finished the main story and then the DLC'S.

This is a game where choices matter. Like 36 different endings to the main story matter.

This is a game where the attention to detail is so fine. Like venturing west will make the sun set sooner fine.

This is a game where you play how you like. Like different combinations of swordplay, alchemy, bombs, and magic playstyle.

This is a game with realistic characters. Like "I can't believe we ♥♥♥♥♥♥ realistic'

I have many more things to say but I'm going to stop this review now because I am can't go any longer with out playing this piece of art.

Make the smart choice and buy this game. You will not regret it.

About half way done thus far and I love it. Combat is much more challenging and personal than the first game where you would walk into a crowd and slash everything apart, in this game combat requires planning and strategy. Graphics are amazing, voice acting is amazing, characters are amazing. Signs are much more useful in this game. Inventory layout is a little weird. Wish looting system was more entrancing, everything essentially drops the same thing theres no rare drops or anything which draws away from the joy.

----Update----
In the latter half of the game the fights are just so easy theres no challenge anymore (regardless of difficulty; difficulty doesn't matter if enemies cant even touch you). Binds can be a little wonky, i.e. pressing 5 to cast aard and nothing happening. Still a great game, loved the story, had the same gut-wrenching decisions as the first game that made me want to live under a rock.
