A great DLC that is worth its price and it could be considered a sequel with the amount of content it has (>25 hours).
It took me around 25 hours to defeat every boss with my simple strenght build (Heavy Greatsword) and I entered the DLC at level 160 and ended at level 190 with 18 scadutree fragments and 12 revered spirit ash (the DLC's upgrade materials).

I have seen a couple of reviews bashing the difficulty of the DLC but I don't think they are worth paying attention to. You can rush the main story bosses but you will find that they will be hard to beat (but not impossible) without obtaining a few of the upgrade materials. These can be found pretty easily and you can always explore the optional areas to obtain a lot of these materials (there are a lot of optional areas and they are simply amazing). The only time I felt that I really needed to explore other areas in order to obtain more materials was when I reached the final boss (skill issue :) and I proceeded to explore all the remaining areas before defeating him.

The only complaint I have is one about performance: I had random stutters every once in a while that were annoying sometimes but hopefully those will be fixed in a future patch.

The gameplay is great, the visuals are amazing and it has a banger soundtrack.
Both the base game and the DLC were amazing :)
