(Sorry if that sounds abrupt/rude, I am bad at social interaction & mentally unwell, it is not intentional. Will unsubscribe now so as not to be a nuisance.)
If you read the T&Cs of Discord they basically own anything you say, write, do, post, etc on their platform (or whatever it is). I do not like that concept personally. The competition in question requires posting on Discord, who require you to "join" to post - i.e. collect personally identifiable information. No thank you.
No issue with those who are happy about these things or don't read T&Cs but I won't join & being forced to join a social media platform to interact bothers me enough to occasionally comment on it.
