There are a lot of comments praising the story, art, and music. That's not where the game shines, in my opinion. The music and art is great, but the story is mediocre at best.

The real gem in this game is the gameplay. It's super smooth, with lots of interesting skills to use and chain together. You can move extremely fast towards the end if you choose to. It's also challenging at times. You will die a lot, but saving and reloading takes no time so it's not a problem.

This game was amazing. The artstyle, the gameplay, the voice acting. It really shows the potential in VR. I got this and episode 2 for 15 dollars, which I think is definitely worth it. It's short, 2-3 hours if you spend time playing around and exploring everything. 1 hour if you rush around, but why would you do that? Definitely worth it and a much more memorable experience than a cinema ticket for the same price. And you get to support the development of amazing VR content.

Make sure you play on the Oculus Player when you launch the game (you, or at least I, can choose between two, choose the bottom one). For some reason it has better customization and controls.
