I absolutely loved this game as a kid. Now recently buying it off of Steam instead of using a disk, since I lost that thing ages ago, I'm reliving my childhood memories of creating creatures, exploring galaxies, etc.
If you love survival games, real-time strategy games, and sci-fi space exploration games, then you'll definitely love this classic.

Just one warning though. Before playing the game, I recommend entering the Properties and set the game to Administration Mode, along with setting the Compatibility Mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 3), because when you reach the Tribal Stage, you may encounter crashes, since this game, like other older games in our childhoods, can be unstable on Windows 10 unless if you know how to counter those. And it's only when you're in the Tribal Stage, so when you enter that stage, I recommend saving more frequently, just in case.
