The only way to get game mode specific challenges is to use quick play, so if you have to play CTF you might need to play slayer 10 times before you get a chance to do your actual challenge, and if you quit because the game you got has no benefit to you, you will get banned like I did.
Then if you disconnect after your ban, you will get banned again, like I did.

At this point the game only exists to cause frustration.

Also, have fun getting your first free armor piece at level 20 if you don't have the battle pass.
