An adrenaline pumping experience from beginning to end. Feels great seeing your time trickle lower and lower, starting with going through the obvious intended routes, then finding alternative routes on replay, even searching for the collectible can help you think outside the box for other routes. The global leaderboards and friends leaderboards motivate you even more to go for the Ace ranks. All in all, smooth controls, quick restarts, genuinely good level design, and a Machine Girl soundtrack completes this superb package.

Great fighter for both experts and beginners with an extensive tutorial on both basic fighting game fundamentals and its deeper mechanics.

It's a little light on content but its unique take on story delivery and lore keeps you coming back for more.

This game still holds up very well as a dumb but fun co-op adventure with plenty of replay value.

Beautiful. A game with it's own sense of identity, from the music, to the visuals, the world, and the gameplay.

The gameplay can be described as a action RPG with a smidge of turn-based strategy mixed in. Your functions (skills) can be used in three different ways, allowing for mix-and-match gameplay that encourages experimenting around. It's always a pleasure to gain new functions and finding great combos to handle the variety of enemies.

Mix this with a captivating story that synchronizes with the touching soundtrack, and you'll be sad when it's all over.

Transistor is a perfect 10/10.
