Can be disappointing for longtime fans of dragon age, as it deliberately avoids getting tangled up in the choices presented in the older games, and avoiding some of the moral discussions around race and sexuality presented in the previous titles. You are a hero, through and through, and you are never given the opportunity to be polarising or antagonistic. The morality of various factions has been watered down to make everyone at least generally agreeable and easy to work with towards a larger evil. Combat takes a bit to get used to, and the live service elements EA threatened to include are lurking in the background, thankfully not be used, just to be a bit puzzling.

The new characters and companions are love-able, and the storytelling results in some effective gut punches, as they have made an effort to make the consequences of choices more immediately felt within your team, rather than big overreaching decisions. Long time fans will find new lore to chew on and to complain about, and some references to keep us happy. Some of the new locations are particularly exciting to fans, although Tevinter in particular doesn't get much of a showing, given how much it is hyped up.

Overall, its a solid introduction to the series for a new generation, and the oldies are more than happy to have it, despite its gripes.

A fairly basic crafting survival game, it ropes you in with cute charecters and zelda-esque epic enviorments. Who knows what it will become with all the planned future updates, but its worth your time as it is! I have easily put over 500 hours in, which allowed me to get to the current endgame content.

The first time my nice safe hidey house got blown to bits leaving me crawling to safety through the wreckage i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jumped a mile.
Other than that rather awesome feature game can be summed up thusly
Dust smoke shouting guns bang bang cover oh god im getting shot dead.

But if a realistic ish military shooter is what your after then yeah, its good, obviously.

Well, the RTS, by all accounts, is rather lacking. I wouldn't know, becuase i spent the whole game on casual and watched my devasters wreck the enemys ♥♥♥♥ while they occasaionally farted out a trooper to get instanta killed. But i can imagine that the lack of variety and bullrushing being the best option, and the dragon being op as all ♥♥♥♥, might annoy some RTS people. Also, i'm annoyed that i couldn't land and start ripping ♥♥♥♥ up, and could only fire fireballs and acid balls like a fancy plane. Also we never actually see any of the enemies defeated we just fight them and win like any other battle.

But ♥♥♥♥ all that, the political bits in between RTS battles are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant. Hilarious charecters, interesting events, hard descisions, did i say hilarious charecters? Yorick in particular was the coolest undead i've ever met. Also the...a....Entity you meet the second act....♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell i swear that voice acting will haunt my nightmares. Wait till he giggles. Oh god.

So if you like RTS, idk, you might enjoy this. For everyone else, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy it, its brilliant.

Gameplay will take your hours to master and you will still be learning how to succeed hours later. The gameplay is both challenging and enjoyable and it paced buetifully. Art style and sound track are amazing, and the ability to zoom up on your growing villages and see how thier doing is lovely.

Overall, Lovely, just lovely.
