Early Access Review
As an avid survival game player, this is the first time I have played a survival game where my I really feel like my actions have serious consequences. This game is a must play for anyone who is into survival games and seeks a refreshing challenge.

There are so many small details that really add up to make this game incredibly immersive: 3D placeable models for most items, the way that zombies push against each other to form a horde, and how nature starts to reclaim the map after a few months pass.

The developers have done an incredible job and I wish I got in on this game sooner.

MHW does scale and weight better than any other game I've played. Each hit feels real, like it has impact. The same is true for the monsters. I would recommend playing this on controller just for the rumble, trust me, it makes the experience so much better.

This game, more than any other, allows the player to revel in their tiny victories, and I appreciate that.

Do not play this game without mods. That's not to say that ARK does not offer a satisfying, challenging--frustrating--survival experience, it surely does at times, but the tedium of simply transporting resources back and forth to your base can be too much at times. While I prefer the way Rust manages inventory management, in the right setting, ARK can offer some of the most hilarious and engaging multiplayer fun on Steam. Fending off a Rex from your wooden shack with sticks and stones, randomly snagging your friends with flying mounts, and riding off to battle your buddies on a Beelzebufo are just some of my favorites unique experiences that really only ARK offers. Note: I've only really played this game casually, and I'm not into the PVP scene, but from what I've watched on YouTube, it's also pretty sick.

As CS:GO is soon going to overtake TF2 as my most played game, I figured I would look back on Team Fortress 2 and leave a review. It's been years since I've played this game daily, but I come back and play for a few weeks after every major content update--needless to say, I am a bit rusty. I can't rocket jump, trickstab, or land **EPIC** crossbow bolts like I used to, but this game is still a blast. While the skill curve is steep, you could literally hand this game to a 6 year old on a min spec laptop and they would have a hard time putting it down. It seems like every aspect of this game is designed around fun, and I miss cramming 2 of my friends into my tiny room so we could all play on our laptops.

If you want to experience losing your childlike innocence all over again, just play a few wipes of Rust.
