My story took place on the 1967 Vietnam war server,
Our squad of NVC had just ambushed an american Huey touching down in a marsh outside one of our villages , successfully destroying it with RPG fire.

I could hear america radio chatter close by so i approached the wreckage searching for the source. I entered an open area where i could see a platoon size force of Americans. I was met with heavy fire and knocked unconscious, as i lay in the mash unable to move from my injuries, i was surrounded by 10 Americans, I surrendered to death.

This is when a BTR controlled by another NVC squad appeared out of the tree line and proceeded to run over the 10 Americans surrounding me and In a very clear Southern american accent, shouting the whole time '' Get the fu** away from our boy , no man gets left behind''. All hell broke loose , i watched as the american platoon was evaporated from all sides by a very angry man in a BTR and a NVC platoon that had come to support me.

I have never felt so included in a community in my life. I hope the men that saved me, read this and know who they are.
