Gameplay is tight, the art is fantastic, mica continues to show their mastery over chibi animations. I'd highly recommend this game to just about anyone who has enjoyed turn based strategy. Xenosnoughts players will probably feel oddly at home here. Mica are first and foremost story tellers and this remake shows that ability in full. I never thought a near two hour long VN style cutscene would keep me enthralled but damn did it keep me eagerly flipping pages

I feel as if someone took a couple summaries of various homeworld fanfictions and a half remembered lets play. Sure the story and gameplay evoke feelings of homeworld but this game is just isn't it. The sudden disappearance of the classic artstyle and storytelling for whatever the ♥♥♥♥ the current one is was. The clear meddling of a certain gearbox employee clearly didn't help matters. Its like going from Supreme Commander FA with all its complexities and fun and then getting SC2. At least SC2 was a fun game. I asked for my money back and got it. Maybe in 6-9 months things will have turned around enough to get me to bite again.

It cost 30.00 dollars. That right there is amazing in its self. The game is fun, engaging and never ending in all the right ways. Also the dev is based as ♥♥♥♥.

Pretty trash honestly

I'm not really sure what to give this. i wish steam had a "mixed" review instead of yes or no. for the price of roughly 14 cents an item, its the best deal out of any DLC yet. But uh, that's kind of the problem, its a DLC. Yeah SE has been out for a few years now and doesn't have near the same amount of people buying in now, so DLC is a logical choice to support it. But half the items are reworked mods, i wouldn't be overly surprised that next DLC would have armored thrusters in it. Admittedly, while going around and looking at what is popular on the WS is a great way to see what the community likes, Its a kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to basically rewrite a mod and charge for it. And while this pack is mostly decorative it does have a critical block like the last decorative pack, a cockpit. That gives a considerable advantage to those who bought in. Its pretty unfair, particularly because the community has been asking for these blocks for years. In addition, we have been asking for many systems for years, years, now and haven't really gotten anything. It would have far better for keen to add this to the first pack, i would have been fine they had even raised the price of the pack when they did this.
Overall, im still quite mixed. Going off contents of the pack alone? its honestly 100% a great DLC, the blocks are all high quality and great additions. particularly that spinning light, i just love it. and for the price, its damn good, i don't think ive ever seen a DLC with a better value. But alas, the reasons behind it, and the practices that went into making it are highly questionable.
My final verdict is that it is a fairly good DLC, but is concerning regarding the future of the game. While keen is not near EA's level of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they can be if the continue this highly questionable trend. I do really wish that this was just an update though. We had so many great updates in the past that added this stuff for free.

Honestly one of the most stunning groups of modders ive seen for a game. Everyone can find some reason to play the game because of them. its a wide sandbox and you have every and any tool to shape and craft it to your needs

Well. Duck Game.... um. yeah, im not really sure what to say. i havent played it much, but its basicly the most insane, fastpaced fun ive had with some friends in a long while. buy this on sale if you can but its worth the full price. Though make sure you have some friends a nd a good voice com setup. They will come in handy.
