I also played D4 in battle.net for a long time. The issue is this games powers and basic attacks are not fun at all. They are kinda soulless. It is not ok if I hold a sword in my hand with Necromancer and my basic attack deals range damage. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is fun, the graphics is really good, music is outstanding, but this game lacks core gameplay. Powers are simply not fun. Blizzard needs to fix this. I know this is not possible for D4 but they need to fix this for their next Diablo game. Ohh btw, story is pure nonsense.

I have been playing this game since release and suddenly Sony decided to enforced this dumb idea that you have to sign in via PSN network. The funny thing is Sony does not provide PSN network in my country like it is a limited resource like food and water. It is a service you provided over the internet, which is available in all the countries. What is stopping you from providing PSN service in all the countries? They already banned my country from buying this game on Steam. I don't understand how sometimes corporations can make dumb moves like this.

Edit: Surprisingly Sony backed off. But I will not delete this review. You all should try this game. It's a wonderful game.

Edit December 24: Now they are putting stratagems behind paywall??? No no no... Not cool!!!

Age of Empires IV is an absolute triumph, a testament to the enduring appeal of the classic real-time strategy (RTS) franchise. As a long-time fan of the series, I can confidently say that this latest installment not only lives up to the expectations set by its predecessors but also introduces fresh and innovative elements that make it a standout in the genre.

From the moment you dive into the game, you're greeted with stunning visuals that blend with a vibrant, modern aesthetic. The attention to detail in the civilizations, units, and landscapes is simply breathtaking, creating a visually immersive experience that brings the game's historical settings to life. Whether you're commanding medieval knights, leading a siege with trebuchets, or orchestrating a naval battle, the graphics and animations are a true delight.

One of the standout features of Age of Empires IV is the diverse array of civilizations, each with its own unique units, technologies, and historical significance. The developers have managed to strike a perfect balance between historical authenticity and game play balance, ensuring that every civilization feels distinct and offers a fresh strategic challenge. From the English with their powerful long bowmen to the Abbasid Dynasty's unique tech tree, there's a civilization to suit every play style.

The campaign mode is a masterclass in storytelling, taking players on a journey through different historical periods with engaging narratives and varied objectives. The scenarios are well-crafted, offering a good mix of historical accuracy and creative freedom. The inclusion of famous historical figures and events adds an extra layer of immersion, making each campaign an educational and entertaining experience.

Multiplayer is where Age of Empires IV truly shines, providing a robust and competitive environment for players to test their skills. The matchmaking system ensures balanced matchups, and the inclusion of innovative game modes keeps the multiplayer experience fresh and exciting. The community features are well-implemented, fostering a sense of camaraderie among players and encouraging strategic discussions.

The user interface and controls have been streamlined for accessibility without sacrificing depth, making the game welcoming to both newcomers and seasoned veterans. The tutorial system effectively guides new players through the mechanics, ensuring a smooth learning curve.

In conclusion, Age of Empires IV is a triumphant return for the beloved RTS series. With its stunning visuals, diverse civilizations, engaging campaigns, and refined game play mechanics, it sets a new standard for the genre. Whether you're a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer to the world of real-time strategy, Age of Empires IV is a must-play that deserves a place in every gamer's library.

I never played the previous game the Dungeon of the Endless. I really love how this game as it is. It has great graphics, one of the best soundtracks and a very simple gameplay mechanics. This game also has a very mysterious story, which is really exciting. This game is really but to play but I think they can improve the targeting mechanism a bit.

O God, the soundtracks are tooooo good!

Is this the best RPG game out there? Naaaaah not even close. But is it fun and is it the best Bathesda game out there? Yes it is. At some times this game feels like prehistoric, but it has great story, great sound design and really fun to play.
