Rome Total War and Empire Total War are by far my favourite in the Total War Series. If you are contemplating buying this game, don't. Buy all of the other ones, for they are much better and will give an accurate representation to how these games are supposed to be.

Edit: This game has gotten better. Good Job

Personally, Medieval II and Rome were the last great Total War titles. If you are looking for something to play I would suggest these titles.
