This game made me play nearly sixty hours in a depressing infected town and in an even even more infected but somewhat more open countryside. I also earned the "Whole Story" achievement, which is rare.

9/10 almost as good as Dead Island

Unplayeable. On my super fast SLI config I get like 15-25 FPS even with medium settings.

Where do I start...

Perhaps with the 2015 movie, which was fantastic.
Now this game is like that movie, but much better, 'cause it's interactive and longer.

It's like the boy child of Lara Croft from the new Tomb Raiders and the guy from Rage. And Batman is his uncle.

Amazing work Avalanche studios, your game is pretty much flawless.

9.5/10 the main story could have been a bit longer.

This game had lots of potentials, but lost it all.
Simply put, it's a terrible console port.

- the gameplay is terrible
- the control is terrible
- the camera movements are terrible
- sound is buggy
- fight system is overcomplicated
- memory remix scenes are hard to control
- bossfights are too long and annoying
- countless other bugs, mistakes fails and so on.

At least:
- the graphic designers did an awesome job, the enviroments look really good.

I had to finish the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game at 66% because the Johnny Greenteeth bossfight bugged and the game didn't let me continue. I did it again, same happened. It thought I'm still in the fight and didn't open the door to continue. This was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ last straw, I ragequitted and deleted this crap.

Save your money and especially your time, don't buy this crap.

Grid 2 is an excellent and diverse racing game, I totally recommend it.

Pro:
- offers way more than 30 hours in the career mode. It features many different race types, such as endurance, time attack, head to head duels etc. There are fie seasons and four different vehicle tiers. As you proress toward world fame, you get vehicle challenges to obtain the more expensive cars.
- nice enviroments and car models. They actually break, get damaged and this influences the driving. They are not as detailed as in Forza, but from behind it is fine. There are many locations, both in Europe, Asia and in the USA.
- each car drives different. The developers really put the emphasis on car handling. You can feel them, especially through a controller.
- Splitscreen mode is really fun.

Contra:
-no cockpit view!!!
- in normal difficulty and above the AI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible. It bumps into you in the corners - and everywhere else - resulting in a spin out, accelerates to unreal speed if it wants to catch up with you and just before the finish line it goes hardcore and tries to ♥♥♥♥ you up. It was programmed so there is ALWAYS a driver who launches at the start like a russian torpedo, goes on the perfect lines. Then there's the next three driver, who often tend to race in a pack way in front of the rest. Problem is, you start at the very back of each race so going through all these idiots can be not only challenging but often frustrating.
- the radio guy is a moron.
- car customization isn't deep enough. You can change only the tires, the rest is all about paint and sponsors.
- I found only one bug but it was awkward, in Dubai at a night race the ligths started to flash like a strobe and I could barely drive safely because of that.

It's a great game with some minor annoying aspects, but mostly these can be solved by setting the difficulty to easy.

This will be a brief summary of the Assassins Creed series in which Ezio Auditore da Firenze was the protagonist, and an opinion about the final part of the trylogy.

From all the three games (AC II, Brotherhood and Revelations), this was my favorite.
Not only for putting an end to an amazing story, and the life of a man, but for technically very well created.
Being outside of Europe (kinda) was a nice fresh experience, I liked the city of Constantinapole. It was more alive, than Rome and other italian places, in my opinion. The engine seemed to be updated, I saw some beautiful light effects and the enviroment was more detailed. I recommend you turning off music and just walking around on the streets listening to your surroundings. Whole new game, isn't it?
This series always represented a different world view and lots of hidden messages throughout the story. That is that drove me to play the game more and more, I found it really exciting. Sadly the gameplay can be repetitive sometimes, and even frustrating when you're too far away from a fast travel point, but close enough to your target location, so you have to run across the city. 'cause no horses in Constantinapole are allowed...

Even though its small mistakes, this series is a must-play for all gamers out there, I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

9/10 for me, however, there are some drawbacks.

What I really liked:
- beautiful graphics and diverse enviroments. This game came out 4 years ago, yet it's still mindblowing. You can drive in four continents, in cities, on the savanna, among pine trees and nice lakes. In one word, I enjoyed all the maps and places.
- great sound effects and musics.
- on casual, it is a piece of a cake, while on advanced, it is like a simulator. I played on advanced and from the driver's view, and it imitated real driving experience more than well.
- imaginative interface. High five to the guys who designed it.
- cars from all types and ages. Everybody can find his/her own favorite.
- random (I assume) events occur during the races. Rarely, but cars drift out, pile up, etc.

Things I didn't like. (hated sometimes):
- the game gets repetitive. Don't know if it is like that in real rally, but the tracks are mirrored. Not once, not twice, but many times. Oh man, it's a new season, another chance to prove yourself - says my mechanic. Then it turns out the race is the same, but this time it is backwards. I was extremely bored after the 3rd season.
- the game cheats. The f***ing bots on advanced go like a madman, regardless of the conditions and the laws of physics. Let me give you an example: I went let's say 3:02 on advanced (hard) and achieved 6th place out of 8. Then I switched to casual (easy) and did it in 2:55 and was first, AND the bot with 3:02 was 2nd. Basically, the game creates their lap times after you did yours, the only difference is, that on advanced it lets you win a very few times, while on casual the time you went could mean you a podium. This is not how selecting difficulty should work.

The game has lots of opportunities and challenges, so the hardcore drivers can satisfy themselves.

10 out of 10

Let me explain, why.
This is an outstanding piece of art. In every aspect.
First, and most importantly, the graphics. It is mindblowing. This is probably the first game where the grass is not pixelated. The textures are beautiful, you can see every small detail of moss, leafs etc. The water, plants, rocks, everything feels real. There is no loading screen during the game, neither HUD, only you and the enviroment. Which was based on real places (in Wisconsin and Poland). They created an atmosphere which resembles to Alan Wake, Dear Esther and an independent game clalled The Cursed Forest. It is beautiful, with all the mountains, pine tree forests, streams and lakes, yet you can sense the darkness below the surface. You can walk free in this world, without restrictions. The devs put a real effort making the graphics as good as possible (uses Unreal 3) and they did a flawless job. Furthermore, they import it to Unreal 4 and everybody who purchased the game gets it for free. I wonder why not all the games look like this today - especially the ones they call themselves "nextgen".

Sound effects, ambient noises, character voices and musics are also perfect. All my respect to the sound designer.

The story is interesting. It's not the jaw dropping type, but gives you some unexpected moments, and a few minutes of thinking after you finish the game.
What you can do in only 5 hours (average is 4.5). This is a pity, I would have spend more time in the Red Creek Valley.
Go buy it even on full price, these guys deserve the money for their awesome work.

I'll keep it smooth and ordered:

Pro:
- REAL mimics. They used a technology where they basically filmed the actors face and put it into the game. No animations, no face capture, you see real people there. That is the main selling point - at least for me - of the game because no other game used this since then. It is very expensive, that is why.
- REAL(istic) movements. The motion capture worked really well, I rarely see this detailed animations.
- Interesting cases. They're small full stories in themselves, but most of them somehow connects to the bigger picture. You start the game as a patrol, then as you move forward you became a detective. You solve cases at each different desk, but you only start to get the picture after half of the game.
- Good main story. It is beliveable, the characters are detailed, such as their motivations. The plot twist impressed me.
- I'd say nice cars as well, but that isn't a big thing to do these days.

Contra:
- Repetitive investigating. You use the same techniques and scripted animations over and over.
- Also repetitive street crimes. Car chases, thefts and shootings. These were the three main types. Some were interesting though.
- Annoying sound bugs. Had to restart the last mission from the beginning because couldn't heard sh*t from the last cutscene.
- 30 FPS lock. And it drops below 24 even on a strong config.

This is a smart game. The developers outdone themselves with the whole facial expression and mocap feature, but they didn't put as much emphasis on important things as they should have. My 27 hours playtime felt like 40 because I got bored many times during it. Still can't dislike it, if it's on sale go and buy it.

7/10

This was the first serious FPS I played back in 2007. Basically, thanks to this game, I got interested in PC gaming.
It gave me plenty of memories and even emotions.
However, now, in 2015, as I started to play this game again, something was wrong.
Even though it run on ultra settings, it looked quiet bad. And I'm not talking about that it looks bad because it's old.
No. It's way too dark, even in sunlight, the blur gives you eye cancer, shadows are lagging, apart from some crates and other stuff everything is solid and the models change their LOD as you approach them. This was the most frustrating issue from all.
Now let's talk about the actual gameplay.
It's even worse.
I downloaded a Realism Mod, which meant to change on the "shoot 20 bullets into his chest then finally he'll die" situation, and on many oher terrible mistakes. It was still rubbish.
You may have heard of the respawning enemies AFTER you liberate a checkpoint. It is utterly stupid, and I'd put the person who programmed this into this situation in real life. In short, I'm talking about this:
You drive peacefully on the dusty road, when suddenly, there is a small checkpoint of the local military. They immediately start to shoot at you, without a question. When you killed them all, and occupied it, you drive along. After like 30m, you remember, that you forgot to pick up ammo, so you turn back. What a suprise, there are soldiers again!! And this goes on and on, every 40 something small base works the same. They even chase you if you drive through them.
Anyways, back to the rewiev.
You can't pick up multiple missions, since the new one would abort the current. How hard could it be to make it possible, and let the player switch between them?
The narration and voices are terrible. They are monotone, and world-weary.
The game doesn't give you the option to play stealthy. I killed a guard pretty far from the others while crouching, with my machete - stealth kill, as it's called nowdays. Guess what. The others miraculously figured out where I am in the 70cm high grass, and opened fire. There is an expensive body armor called "Camo Suit" which grants more invisibility. I read, it doesn't work either.
The story is lame as well.

I really hoped, that it'll bring back the good memories, but sadly it couldn't.
Everybody said it was a bad game and I didn't believe them. Now I do.

Go buy Far Cry 3 or 4, those are masterpieces compared to this.
