A real millitary simulator, with enough singleplayer content, multiplayer servers and missions, and enough modding to let you play from the vannilla experience, to just a shooter, to hell even starwars milsim... enough to keep your quite busy for a while.

And they keep updating, improving and adding DLC's (meh) to the game.
Creator DLC's not mixing with Vanilla content is very sad though.

its a great game, payday 2 is a good co-op game you can enjoy solo/ with friends and online.
thats my main opinion on this game. then the discussion about the DLC's...

yes often they are nice,
yes sometimes their crap,
yes there are many DLC's with content diffirence
and yes some are overpriced for the content. i cant say otherwise BUT...

you dont need to have those DLC's to enjoy the game.
altough you get some special things, there are community things you get for free too. (like recent sniper for free)
its your own decision if you want some special things or not.

if your a "stats guy" you dont want a "BBQ DLC" (an example, dont judge) because it does not out-peform standard guns,
if your a "gun interested guy" you'll love such DLC's cause there are some special fun items you can use.
so do think about it!: price - VS - content/quality.

ive got around 750 hours in it and im still happy.
i do have 1 DLC (shotgun pack. a gift for me) on my account but i didnt enjoy the game much more because of it.

i still fully recommend it to everyone.
as long as you are clear what DLC's you want/need against what price to enjoy the primary game.

what a piece of ♥♥♥♥ so far... you won't know how fun it is because you can't get play it. its just problem after problem.

first you can't launch. after that was updated then it just randomly crashed.
and if that doesnt kill it then the random shortage of memory does it, even though i have reccomended settings (4GB-3.25 usable)... everything on lowest possible and guess what,
the game ran out of error messages to say so it just crashed with no message what so ever again...

its epic, especialy with friends, or handy mods what makes it even more fun,
just a server with 500+ players and its chaos,
or a server with factions option, make your own faction. "train" your faction members to battle with the army vehicles and battle other factions... all up to you.
they are busy with inventing more stuff or adjusting some smal problems.

but hey
its worth buying (the just cause 2 game of course) and this is free with it (for now atleast)
and if you find your favorite server, then you will experience what im talking about... :)
