Extremely sweet and cute VN that you'd be crazy not to play, seeing as it comes at the low, low price of free. Not a particularly complex game, just girls being girls, bein' cute and playing mobile games together. Sometimes they smooch.

Short, fun, and devilishly tricky. Just a neat little puzzle game with cute art, and what more could you really ask for?

Not as bad as you've heard. FFXIII has a fun combat and levelling system that's hindered by its unfortunate levelgating, and has an ambitious approach to storytelling that's burdened by the writers' forgetting how to connect events and characters in a way that makes sense. That said, most of the core cast are interesting characters with tangible goals and reasoning behind their actions... it just takes a bit of thought to figure out what those are becasue of the aforementioned poor writing. Definitely worth trying, just to see whether you like it or not.

Why did I play this. Why did I finish this. Why did I enjoy this. I don't know, but I was able to make the entire cast hold a half-eaten piece of toast in their mouths throughout most of the game, and I always got super pumped whenever they transformed into their superforms. It's a good time.

NOTE: Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force is now available, which is a remake/director's cut of this game. THEY'RE THE SAME GAME, except ADF has more content. So, y'know, get that one.

A much bigger game than the first Evoland that takes full advantage of the "time-zone" swapping concept. Is also much harder than the first game, so consider yourself warned. My only complaints are the unfortunately-placed checkpoints. Definitely check it out if its premise sounds at all interesting.

Also: since I always like to know when going into a game like this, knowledge of the first game is not necessary, but there are a few references to look out for.

Longer than it looks, with a lot of tactical options for you to take advantage of. Jokes, of which there are many, range from "eh" to "haha vidya gaem reference" to "lulz". Play if you're looking for a blast from the past- the mid-2000's, to be exact.

Fun time with a unique artstyle and world. Definitely get the trilogy all together.

This game takes roughly a year to finish... worth it tho. Ending is a little unsatisfactory but everything leading up to it is a blast.
