I have finally finished Starfield's main quest with several sidequests and the following are some of my thoughts so far playing the game before the official release.

The first thing i wanted to address is the negative commentary about this game out of the way. There are several differing opinions but i feel like the main ones revolve around the following:

1. Issues running the game/performance
- I had no issues running the game on Ultra at 4k in my 73 ish hours of playing this game. I am able to maintain a consistent frame rate of 80-100 fps and have crashed maybe 1/2 in the very beginning. The sad truth is, if you are running a less than recommended rig , you are going to have a very bad time running this game. I see alot on forums discussions about "oh i can run x,y,z, game that was released this year and starfield is poorly optimized, im giving it a 1/10". IMO realistically, this game is not gonna be supported across every single GPU/CPU comp. You could have a great GPU but a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CPU and that will show in this game. You can have a rig that is able to run every single game released this year on high/ultra and have it not run that great in this game. It's massive and it's not that greatly optimized for older GPUs/CPUs so that might bias what you think of the game.

2. Starfield is not like X,Y,Z space rpg/sim/etc such as NMS, star citizen, etc.
- Starfield can be best described as an RPG in space. If you have played any of the old bethesda series such as Fallout, Elder scrolls, there are some similarities but this is essentially, you create a character, get thrust into a major plot and are off to explore/do whatever you want. Are you going to get the deep detailed micro of No man's sky? probably not, and that should not be expected in the current vanilla version. I would almost say starfield is essentially bethesda's formula with a twist in space with many pop culture references to other space genres/games. The expectation is unrealistic( naturally so) for a game of this magnitude so i feel like people are expecting the wrong type of game when it comes to starfield.

So getting that out of the way, my favorite parts of the game so far are definitely the story, the ship/outpost customization, and endgame. The plot in starfield (main/sidequests included) are probably some of the best in the franchise, if not in recent memory for an rpg of this type. There were so many quests that literally dropped my jaw in the implementation, the creativity, the design etc. There are so many moments where you think you would expect how something would turn out and be pleasantly surprised. The customization is a great balance between being user friendly enough to "get started" and robust enough to support someone who wants to micro every aspect of the game.

The bottom line is, just place this game. Love it, hate it, like it, doesn't matter. Pick this game up on gamepass, steam, etc, and then just form your own opinion of it. Don't get too sucked into the news on how "good"/"bad" this game is and form your own opinion.

This gets a 9/10 for me in terms of overall content. 1/10 for some very minor bugs (whiich were worked around due to help from the community/etc).

This game is one of the most underrated games i've played all year. I've seen the reviews and played the first game, but it does not do this game enough justice.

This game is essentially dark souls with guns. The environmental story telling with the procedural generation and memorable bosses are the best parts of this game. The game is smooth and i've encountered no bugs at all upon launch.

The replayability of this game is phenomenal. Weapons are earned, not freely given. You can buy weapons and armor but the best equips in the game require specific randomly generated items and incentivizes players to "re-roll" worlds and play them again. In one of my subsequent playthroughs of a world, i was able to discover a completely new area that wasn't there the first time around. It makes for a very fun and unique experience.

10/10 would recommend

Resident evil 4 is the epitome of over the shoulder survival horror and action gameplay . As a big fan of the original , this remake excels in every single way compared to the original . As I finished the other two remakes, re 2 and 3, I would have to say re 4 is the best one so far. The combat feels very tight and the amount of enemies you fight at a time really make you feel like you need to use every tool to survive. There are so many quality of life and mechanics added that stay true to the original but also make it a very good game to play in 2023. This is an amazing game at full price. Pick up if you are an re fan or like survival horror shooters. This is the one that revolutionized the genre !!

I was very hesitant to pick up this game since there were alot of negative reviews about the prevoius Spellforce 3 version.

I am very glad i did. This game combines some of the best aspects of isometric dungeoning, great storytelling, and fantastic character building. Think divinity original sin 2, warcraft 3, etc etc. For a RPG/RTS combo, the basebuilding is very straightforward. Micromanagement is a piece of a cake. I was suprised at how immersed i was in the storytelling and the gameplay.

All in all, i would give this game a 9/10 ESPECIALLY at being able to get all 3 games at the very low price of 20. Definitely underrated

This is a great game that has only gotten better. With the new master mode update, the enemies are harder than ever. The 1.4 patch has made Terraria less of a cheesy game with most of the bugs patched.

Best way to describe the new master mode is a 2d "Dark Souls". Would definitely play with friends.

Definitely a great upgrade to the first Company of Heroes, COH2 definitely allows more flexibility and customization. I really enjoyed being able to constantly come up with new strategies every game which definitely keeps me coming back for more. Some common complaints are that some commanders are too overpowered and some factions are too strong, however, every faction has it's pros and cons so don't be discouraged if you lose in multiplayer.

Another con is that the game has multiple, expensive, DLCS. However , if you can buy this game the expansions during a sale, it's a recommended buy, just not for 40 bucks for the main and 40 for the expansion.
