A great game through and through.
The game was not particularly long - if you were to focus on the main quests, the game could probably be completed in under 25 hours. Even having played up to 40 hours, the game did not feel padded out for game time.
Soundwise, the game is great, weapon sounds, the music fit the genre great. Besides that the game is fully voiced which added to the overall experience.
Storywise, the game is not groundbreaking. The story made sense, had some hooks for the player to keep moving forward but it did not do much more than that.
Gameplay wise, the game is amazing - this alone warrants anybody to at least try out this game. The combat is fast, impactful and satisfying. In the very lategame the encounters might become speed races rather than actual gunfights because the first one to shoot almost always comes out on top. This just forces the player to consider their options more carefully and to sometimes apply different strategies.
All in all, Wasteland 3 is a shining example of what an RPG should look like. The game has some problems, however the gameplay more than makes up for it. Truly amazing.
