fun game, but survivors are so salty when they lose, should get better when you have 4k hours honestly and not lose against a killer with 200 hours

What an amazing game.

This game is an amazing combination of all the previus games that from software have made, I was a bit worried about the open world since they have not really done it before but they nailed it!
the old darksouls games have 20 to 40 bosses and they went all in on this one adding 83 bosses with around 70 being uniqe,
the gameplay is incredable and after 37 hours I have only explored around 35 % of the game I belive.


pretty much all the negative reviews I have seen are people complaining about stutters and fps issues, these are valid complaints but these will be fixed so I recomend those people to come back to the game in like 1 month to see if they have fixed it and see if you want to change your review.

also do keep in mind that all games have recommended computer specs, look at what they are, and if your computer is not up to spec then you can't really complain that it is not running perfectly.

I bought this game becasuse I like the other metro games and the book. I thought since the game came out in 2019 that there would be signifigent inprovement to graphics, animations, and ingame cinematics. but I was more than disappointed. it has a cool idea when it comes to the story and it has potential. but it is ruined by imersionbreaking things like the horrible physics. I ran on a stair case and was shot to mars and died to fall damage more times than I can count. no one just leaps at the top of a stair case with insane momentum and starts flying in irl. that is only a monor problem though. I have the graphics on max at 1440p and when I look at the mountains far away, even with a scope, they just look like something out of a ps2 game, alot of the surrounding also has teh same ps2 feel to it. I mean the guns look good and somethings actually look nice but alot of the surrounding is just really bad.
there are also some really boring mechanics that are just lazy and bad made, for example 2 of the worst once that i incounterd was the sound detection mechanic when sneaking, and the aim with some of the scopes in game. starting out with the detection mechanic. there is none, untill you get to about the end of the game where there is a mutant that can only hear you. but even that one is ♥♥♥♥. you might be asking how do you know that the sound does not matter in the majority of the game. well... because I was sneaking and then by accident jumped. and then I realized that the jump did not register for the enemy. So I just keept jumping becaus it was faster than just sneaking. and no one noticed me. now to the scopes. some scopes where just not zerod to the target. I would try and shoot people from all possible distances and I always had to aim 1cm down bellow the target. that and that the hitbox is trash. I cant count how many times I have shot through an enemy or how many times my throwing knife has gone through the enemy aswell. on top of this the ai in the game is really bad, and I mean really bad. I played on a pretty high difficulty and the only thing that changed was pretty much that some of the ai got spin aim bots. and I mean that they would be turned around and then all of a sudden detect me and spin around and shoot me in my head so fast that their body would not move but their hands would just twist around and shoot me. also the speaking and facial animations are literally on par with the first metro game, they where good for the time, but now I would expect something much better, I mean you could get better animations with an iphone using a snapchat filter.

the only reason why I am giving this a bad review and complaining about all these things is because they have put alot of money into developing this game, and still it feels like it was made by 3 dudes over the span of a year with 0 to no funding. just a disappointment, even with low expectations.

btw I saw on an article that they made around 160 million from the sales of the game so there is literally no excuse.

I have played 2 games of among us to really get the feel for the game and to make sure that I am not missing out on any important features before writing this review. I have had a blast for the last 47 min and 34 seconds. if I was told when I was born that this is what it all would lead up to then I would build a timemachine just so I could experience this masterpeice of a game earlier. As I started the game I let out a gasp, the air left my lungs as I was filled with a feeling of completness. not short after this enlightenment I started a game and sat back. I was kicked from the lobby 7 seconds later and locked away from my newly made friends. this would not hold me back! I got back into a new lobby and ohh it was glorius, in between changing the graphics settings to turn of v sync my newly made friend yellow was killed right infront of my eyes. I was traumatised. before I could react my nemises blue came out of nowhere to report the body. I was mourning and in shock from the graphic execution of my friend and while I was processing it all, blue said one thing.... purple.... It took me a few seconds to realise that he was calling me a killer. my whole life flashed infront of me and I became numb. 2 seconds had passed and 7 people had already cast their vote. I knew my fate laid in the hands of the last man with the uncasted vote. I made my case and told him about the horrible event that transpired infront of me. when there was 10 seconds left he responded. he wrote no habla englesia. the man did not speak english. I felt silly and voted for myself. it was over, the laws of physics made no sense to me anymore. I jumped into the lavapit with pride, because I knew I was right. and now here I am telling you this tale. I might return to among us one day but the wonds are still fresh, I need time to heal. I can only hope that you found comfort in knowing that sometimes. that is just how the pickle crumbles.

this game has under aged gamebeling and the competetive servers only have 64 ticks so there is build in lag and ghost bullets. there are games in beta that are more stable than this game. Also there is a bug where you get a random 1 sec lagspike every now and then that has been in the game since release that they have not fixed yet. 10/10
edit: steam keeps asking me to revise my review so here it is.
I stand by what I wrote.
I managed to fix the random lagspike though so atleast that is nice.
