Honestly, Among the Sleep is captivating on many levels. I personally love horror games and while this game definitely had its moments of jump scare, it was nothing like other games in the genre (Amnesia or Outlast just to name a few), but considering the powerful story they tell perhaps its good they aren't like the others. The subtle way the writers work in real adult issues in the eyes of a 2 year old is impressive, as well as scary. The story reaches a depth that I sometimes don't see in a game with 60 hours worth of campaign, and deserves a lot of credit for it. The game takes you through a fantastic story that leaves you exposed and vulnerable. Definitely a great Indie story in a mild horror game.

PROLOGUE:

The prologue is a short add on to clear up part of the story that a lot of people might not have picked up on in the original game alone. Neither of your parents are perfect.

Whimsical. Magical. Emotional. Dark.

Just a few words to describe the captivating story this game tells. Truley a deep story that few games can provide. Felt like I had fallen into a new world with an enthralling adventure.

Though this game is in alpha I've sinserly enjoyed the idea of playing through a horror survival game with friends. The fact that you can play as a survivor or play as the monster murdering everyone is just as exciting as it is terrifying. The sounds are decent, though could use much improvement to create a better ambience and create that paranoid feeling we all love in our horror games. Very excited for the final release, until then happy hunting! *Muhahahahhahaha...*
