Game rocks so super duper hard. Play it.

Nothing else like it. Not like any survival game you've ever played before, I guarantee it. If you shrug off survival games because they all feel the same and are very repetitive, then this is the one "survival game" you will enjoy. It's actually rather light on the survival aspects and more-so focused on exploration and progressing the story/over-arching objective instead of being focused on tons of farming, managing resources, and managing a million different types of hunger/thirst/stamina bars. It's much more straight forward in the survival portions of the game because it definitely wants you to explore and open up new parts of the map to progress the story. Any time you need items, you will probably already have gathered the items you need. You will very rarely have to go out of your way to hardcore farm materials to be able to craft stuff. I could talk about it forever, just trust me. Without going into too much detail as to what the story gets into, this game is super fun and totally worth your time.

I didn't think I'd have so much to say but I just started typing and it got a lot longer than I intended to, so I'll break it up into sections.

Player Movement: (TLDR: Infinite's movement is mostly fine. Clamber is an annoyance and feels very forced but for the most part movement feels great, it's just not a true return to form for Halo when it comes to player movement. Sprint, slide and clamber are still rather intrusive, even if they are MUCH MUCH less intrusive than in previous entries.
Halo Infinite is (almost) a perfect return to form for the Halo series. There are now only 3 enhanced mobility options attached directly to the player, Sprint, slide, and clamber. Sprint is not very fast compared to the normal running speed, it is mostly used to activate slide, however, sprint certainly IS faster by a noticeable amount, so not sprinting will be a handicap. It's definitely required to a certain extent if you want to traverse the maps properly, however, it is not as required or intrusive as clamber. Sprint is mostly just there to be able to activate slide, it doesn't effect your moment to moment map traversal all that much. Most map traversal is do-able without sprint. I also have noticed a fair amount of map traversal is not reliant on clamber whatsoever, however, there are some places where it is simply unavoidable. So if you were hoping for a full return to form for Halo, a game that feels like a true continuation of Halo 3, you aren't getting it here, at least in terms of player movement. In my opinion nothing beats Halo 3's movement and physics. Map traversal without the need for clamber or having to sprint in order to have enough speed to clear certain gaps is definitely much better than the movement in Halo Infinite. It's feels really bad when i'm forced to clamber, it's a shame and it feels so forced. Most of the map traversal is clamber-less but the seamless map traversal comes to a halt when they put 2-5 spots on every map where clamber is necessary. Even though these 3 player mechanics are a bit intrusive and slow down the Halo formula, the game still plays really well, and is a lot of fun. I still recommend it, even if (like myself) you think Classic Halo is the best Halo and enhanced mobility sucks, still try it. I promise the rest of the game makes up for it.

Sandbox:
The weapon and equipment sandbox is on par or even better than Halo 3's sandbox (not including vehicles). There is tons of variety and uniqueness with all the weapons and equipment. They all feel fun to use (besides the drop wall and threat sensor, they are a little boring and somewhat useless for the most part, but those can be replaced, or improved/just made more fun and engaging).

Maps:
Every fps player has said to themselves atleast one time while playing an fps "dude ♥♥♥♥ this map this map ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks" or something along the lines of that. I have played for almost 30 hours, not once have I even thought to complain about the maps. If I really sit and think about it, maybe I can give you a few reasons why some of the maps arent the best. But honestly I have no complaints. I'm not saying the maps are all perfect by any means, but they are mostly all aesthetically unique and interesting, and most of the map layouts are unique and well thought out as well. To be honest, a lot of the 4v4 maps I can think of off of the top of my head are all 3 lane, "left middle right" maps so they definitely played it safe, but the maps play well and still have some creative routing and verticality.

Player customization: (TLDR: Customization is the most indepth it has ever been with the most things to customize, however it is very limited by color coatings (no more primary secondary colors, they have preset color combinations you need to unlock or buy) and not being able to combine all armors however you want, some armors aren't allowed to be used with other armors, and there are a lot of examples where this happens, it is not a niche situation whatsoever.)
There are a ton of options to customize, way more than any halo game has ever given you. However, not every piece of armor is customizable with one another. You have "Spartan cores" which are different types of Spartans (Spartan II's, Spartan VII's, whatever else) and those Spartans all have specific armor pieces that are meant for them, you cannot take a shoulder piece or helmet from a Spartan II Spartan core, and use it on a Spartan VII Spartan core. There are lots of things to customize, but it is NOT all connected. You are rather limited on what you can combine together. Also there are now Color coatings, if you don't already know, there are no more Primary and Secondary colors for your Spartan, no elites playable either, sorry loool. They replaced Primary Secondary colors with color coatings. Color coatings are preset color customization options that you equip to your Spartan. You can't mix and match the two colors you want to, you need to unlock, or even sometimes buy with real money, the color combination you are looking for. Who knows, the color combination you want might not even be in the game. There are also the options to customize your spartans voice, your personal AI's voice and color, as well as adding prosthetic limbs to your spartan.

I guess that's really all I have to say. Overall it's a fantastic Halo game. It's not perfect and I didn't think we would ever get a perfect continuation of the series, but this is still pretty damn good.

Best BR game i've ever played to this day. It's 2020 and even apex doesn't scratch the itch this game did for me. The atm mechanic in the game is such a unique feature to BR games and made the game play so much differently than other BR games. I can remember multiple scenarios I was in where I had to make a choice between banking my cash or risking it all to get first place. The zone isn't just a boring circle like every other BR, the zone is on a grid, and random squares get taken away as the game goes on. so many cool little nuances that made this game so fun and different. I know if this game re-released in a more finished state it would do so well. Miss this game more than anything. Please come back :C
