Graphics
7/10
If your expecting AAA graphics from this game you will not get it but instead you will get a beautiful generated pixel, Minecraft style setting which is intentional and appropriate for the feel of the game.
The graphics of the locations inside and out and characters are amazing for the style of game. Walking around the cities and inside buildings sets the mood and brings the whole game together
sound and music
5/10
Even at early access there isn’t much in terms of music and sound but this could all be added throughout development. You have the usual sounds expected in a game like this but nothing ground breaking yet

game play
8/10
The game play even at such a early stage is amazing and there isn’t nothing out there similar. It’s a great sit back and be engulfed in the genre of detective work. The game is based on investigating crime scenes and taking on various side missions from various locations which can vary from recover items, to planting evidence to snooping on people for other residents and companies. Where the game shines is the key missions in terms of murders which happen at any given time. These murders require intensive investigation which sometimes offers no help and the smallest of leads. Its then up to you to chase down the killer using various methods like computer resources, character references, witness statements. Evidence collected from crime scene can be cross referenced while breaking in to various locations residential and commercial to get more info. All the details are then put together with a great pin board system allowing you to reference evidence collected and pin together. Everything can be collected as evidence and the customising pins to arrange how you want to investigate your case. There are cases where a murder suspect becomes a serial killer and more victims pop up broadening your case and dive deeper in to investigations. At early access this game can only get better. The best thing about the game is the whole game is generated being that all crimes are randomly created offering never ending game play and all mechanics in the game are pre generated regardless of how many times you start the game. Each character in the game has a job, home and daily routines and feels lived in. There is nothing better than having a case, breaking in to a suspects house and gather intel then hitting one of the many locations like a diner , grab a coffee and burger and sit in a booth and going over your findings all the while taking in the surroundings.
controls
8/10
The controls for me are based on keyboard and mouse which I found easy to play. There is not much key binding needed and what is there is easy to bind and to suit your play style.

Story
9/10
The game does not have a story and maybe in the future dlcs and updates might add scripted story missions. The game is designed for generated stories which can come from anywhere. The cases that occur are great to be involved in and can range from 10 min break in and take missions to hour long serial killer cases. ( I had 3 murders in one apartment and turned out to be a serial killer living in the same block which too me 2 hours along(. This can all change but the way the game works story is not there but more than makes up for it in these generated crimes but still deserves a strong 9 for how the system works

conclusion

The game is at such a early stage but has so much promise and content Is at a good stage. The passion of the developer is there from creating something so unique but so great to play ever this early. I cant wait to see how this game progresses and is very much in my genre of games
Bonus 5 points just for the fun I am having with this game so far but also for the innovation of the game which nobody has done before

Graphics
6/10
Rating the graphics on this game which has been out for some time now is hard considering the next gen hardware but during the release date im sure this game would have been on par with present day graphics and would have been around a 8. The game played today is still pleasant to look a considering the time. The world feels great and all items are shown in a authentic way to bring you in to the game. Its not the worse looking title for previous game so a 6 is generous
sound and music
7/10
Again this is hard to rate this for a older title as games have come a long way in the past years with full scores written by well known composers and sound design gets much bigger budgets now but the sound is still good today. All weapons and items have there own sounds and the atmosphere sounds great to match the visuals. The higher points of this rating go to the dialogue and characters as they are portrayed very well and just another example of the fall out series keeping its reputation. The music and background ambience add to the feeling of the wasteland when you venture out immersing you in to the game

game play
8/10
Game play is something that really does not effect when the game was made as its what draws us to gaming and fallout 4 is no exception. Fall series has a known reputation for creating a unique gaming experience and universe and this instalment gets it right. If your familiar with the fall out series the 1st person adventure and gun play is all there like other shooters but it’s the VATs system that makes these games different, with the ability to freeze time and pin point a certain body part which the hits damage based on weapon stats, enemy armour and range. This is a welcoming style as it gives you the option to break down various enemies before you engage in full combat. The mechanics are amazing in the game from using your gear, to upgrades and moving around. The world is massive and full of places to explore. How you play the game is yoru choice and there are story driven choices that effect your character in a rpg style. This is a great game to put on at night and hit the wasteland not knowing what you will discover.

controls
9/10
Again controls is not an important factor of new and old games as the controller based game really has not changed according to buttons and mapping. This game utilizes the controllers full capability and all actions are well placed and mapped. Every function is at your fingertips and easy to play making the experience a great one.

Story
9/10
The story is where the fallout series shines. I feel that games of the previous generation and past had time and creativity was at its highest without the demand, pressure and costs of modern day game design. Rpg games require story , character and lore and this game is full of it. Every corner you turn there is something to find out and the main quest keeps you driving forward while a flood load of side quests and mini quest fill the gaps. You can be on a long journey for a quest and stumble upon someone who just needs your help which opens up Pandora’s box to a new avenue. There are many main quest characters and side quests then there are the regular folk which add to the world but all have something to offer. The story is a long one and something to prepare yourself and be engaged in. There are times where I just want to go out and see what I find, explore and the times where I want to do missions

conclusion

Bonus 1 point just because the game is awesome and although not a AAA title in present day. This when it came out turned heads and lead the way for gaming and deserves that extra point to get it in to the 40s based on content and playability
40 out of 50

Fall out 4 overall after all these years is a gem. Its so worth the price and the gaming experience you get out of it is nostalgic but also engaging . Do not be put off by older gen graphics this game is still up there in terms of looks but the story will bring you in. This game is definitely worth the play especially for fall out fans and new player. I personally loved fallout 2 my fav. New vegas also has the votes as probably a better game but 4 is still up there and worth a try

Okay so here is my review I have logged 82 hours . This review is based on the latest Next Gen update and although the game update is new and for some patches are needed to fix a few bits the overall experience of the game from previous version to what I experienced with the next gen version remains the same.

Graphics
9/10
Witcher 3 is a must have game for all rpg fans. If you’re a fan of rich environments that bring the whole experience together in a game then this is your type of game. The world is beautifully created with so many different scenes from busting cities filled with people and locations to explore, to rich dense forests to mountain views and caves. The game gives users a intense graphics tweaking options to tweak the game to your specs. The latest update as included ray tracing although needs a but of work to fully accomplish what it can do but without the game considering released in 2015 is very much up there with top game of today.
sound and music
9/10
The witcher experience is brought together for the visuals with amazing sound in music and sound effects. The weapons and spells used really feel like your actually casting and hitting things which makes each piece of equipment and spell worth while using and investing in. The sound effects of the world around you compliment the visuals making this adventure non stop and always wondering what is around the corner. The score like many Big games has a wonderful atmospheric orchestral feel to it just like any movie. The sound adjusts to the environment and situation your in and makes it a very big part of the game.

game play
9/10
The game play as with most rpg is your normal loot, craft, explore, right and communicate around the very large open world. There are mulitple regions to play through each with hundreds of sidequests, random events and main story lines all branching everywhere and makes you wonder what will each npc you meet open up. The lore around the game as you would expect with a large franchise is huge and although not dependent to play the rest of the witcher games and jumping straight I to the 3rds on it’s a gem of a story to play as a game. The controller set up is perfect with everything you need at your hands. With the next gen update some tweaks have come along with quick spell casting which compliments quicker game play. You travel through the lands picking up missions everywhere from ncp, other missions and mission boards in towns and before you know it you have tonnes of stuff to do all different in playability. The mission designs are amazing and everything seem fresh as you play along with all major and side character content unique to the play. The inventory system is nicely placed out but I think with the lack of option to place labels ot have selected items as favourites so you know what stuff you like and want to keep is missing as you will collect so much and forget which swords you like the best to keep. The crafting, item enchanting is a nice touch in creating a unique character that you want along with mutagen gels which you can pump in to witcher powers to boost any of your armour, weapons and spells to combine powers to create all types of build.

controls
9/10
The controls are basic and easily assigned to the controller and everything can be operated from a touch. The controls work well with this type of game with spells, items, weapons all assigned to their own button and easy to navigate. I have not played with a mouse and keyboard but as a 3rd person game I struggle personally using mouse and especially when horseback riding but this is a preference .

Story
9/10
The witcher universe is rich and full of suspense and adventure and comes with so many characters with there own stories tied to the main story then you have your own agenda. How you want to be and play. The game unfolds and develops from previous versions but no too much for new player to not know what is going on but if you truly want to understand the witcher universe you would have to play the previous games and read the half dozen books to know exactly what is going on but with al major book converted films and games this is the norm to experience the full lore. The story is oen that will keep you going and time to time you find your self drifting and wonder what that place is there to explore side tracking you to new places to see and do. You can approach this game how you want and you will be pumping in over 100 to 200 hour min to get around it all so its your choice how to play. I sometimes sit and say im going to go through my mission list and do stuff or sometimes I come on and want to get on a boat and let it take me where ever it goes, Its up to you. Full open world non linear

conclusion

45 out of 50 Star buy
I am not going to write a paragraph on the game other than it’s a much in your library and a pc classic that will never age. After 7 years the development have stripped it down to create a next gen version for free just goes to show you the scale and success of the game for the devs to do this and something that is welcomed.

Similar games if you play are skyrim, gods of war ( without the linear approach)
The price is the biggest reflection to buy this game which currently sits at £5 then you get the free next gen update as well. The game play and what you get does not justify the cost of the game and will be the best purchase you made. Just wating you tube videos gets you so interested in creating this story of your own and if you a fan of witcher or this type of game you will not be disappointed.

Okay so here is my review I have logged 62 hours in a week cause I could not get off the game

Graphics
8/10
As far as graphics go it is a gorgeous game to play and look at, and sometimes you just sit there looking at all the detail in front of you. The levels and designs are truly on par with the point and click adventure games with plenty to see and becomes very immersive where ever you go. Each location is uniquely designed from exteriors to interiors bringing the whole package together. All the weapons, items and armour including character design are wonderfully detailed and you actually feel excited about putting on a piece of item on your character because you get to see it making the whole rpg genre fun. Being able to zoom right up to your character be it in combat or exploration makes all the graphical aspects even more fun.

sound and music
10/10
The sound design in both SFX and music are on par here like any major title. The sfx work very well with the game bringing each piece of weapon together visually and through sound. You actually feel like your using that weapon with how it works and sounds. The magic sounds are great each time you penetrate an enemy with endless amounts of options. All characters are voiced superbly bringing the experience, lore and playability together and becoming hard to pull away. The music is an award on its own. Beautifully scored soundtrack on par with the likes of big film style games and the likes of skyrim. The music suits the locations and moods perfectly from exploration with subtle orchestral, melodic and atmospheric accompaniment then when danger lurks or combat starts this mood shifts accordingly. There is plenty of music backing through the game to keep the game interesting not to mention each characters theme.

game play
9/10
The game play of the game works as a turn based strategy when in combat similar to the likes of xcom. These type of game really gets you thinking about all the gear you use as a individual along side your party and the environment. All factors play a part from where your fighting, with whom, which what gear and weapons and in conjunction with the rest of your party making the game immersive and you have to think hard. The amount of time I had to reload and approach certain fights from different perspectives is amazing how it rolls out. I just love customising my party wit the gear ready for a fight then orchestrating the battle with movement and abilities. Being able to use magic and offensive weapons throughout the party really encourages experimentation alongside planning and thought then you sit back and watch the show. The battle can change with one wrong or good move and that’s what makes it perfect. Game play in exploration is relaxing, wondering around hundred of locations wondering who you will bump in to find out something new, open a quest , or find a secret. The game encourages you to explore and think out the box from how you approach npcs and locations to maybe using your abilities like mixing up skills and powers to teleport someone to a out of reach place. The inventory system can however be overwhelming with each party member having a large inventory which will be full of stuff and I mean so much stuff. Although not the best the inventory can be arrange accordingly and also items shortlisted . Bags and pouches are available to place items in place but if you want more options in this area mods are available. The game play consists of crafting which has in excess of 1000 items to collect and craft and siting there just adding stuff together to discover what you can make becomes a chore but also rewarding ( once crafted you can just auto craft items)

controls
9/10
The controls are as standard with most rpg games while using the mouse is straight forward with approx. a dozen or so short cuts on the keyboard to link game play. Most of these are on screen as well for mouse navigation but its always a nice option to be able to play the game this way of assign keys which you can bind. I myself use a mmo 15 button mouse which has everything I need in my hand with a hand side monitor reference diagram of which buttons does what encase my memory reflex suffers. Along with a 3 pedal footswitch which is a gem for all my gaming I hardly have to move my fingers away from the Direction keys. Game pad is usable as well and hear that its optimised for this with hold down and quick access but I have not played this way but mouse and keyboard is the way to go

Story
8/10
So far 60 hours in the story is amazing with so much concept with the main story and individual characters. Each npc can open up many routes to give you exploration and interest to carry out missions. The mission log is pretty basic and easy to follow and can build up quick in act 1 but you settle down and approach each one how you like. When you move on to act 1 fort island that’s where many of the lore opens up and character choices, each character has their side quests opened up there and out of the 6 generic characters each beautifully created have their own content and missions so you can mix and match who you want to play with and accomplish there stories at this point with a 4 character party selection. A currently at 60s are only on act 1 where the game really st starts. The first part on the ship is a tutorial really and doesn’t count to much so even at 60 hours I am hardly through the game yet as the game states 60 completion but I never get anywhere close on games as I take my time to take it all in and do everything. The story opens up as you go along and from what I have read going in to act 2 starts motion even more. Choices matter a lot not just dialogue but actions and the character you choose as a primary and also your party. There could be only 1 party member that can open up missions and progress dialogue based on there race so the options are to be explored and taken in

conclusion

44 out of 50
The game is a solid gem for any tactical, rpg, role playing trun base fan. It ticks all the boxes for all these genres and anyone growing up with dungeons and dragons or war hammer will appreciated the game. If you want to sit there and go on a quest , craft, use a massive arsenal of magic in powers and scrolls along with weapons this is your game. The ability to craft certain skills together to open up new things is amazing and just takes you away from your live jumping in to this world. Its addictive because you can play how you want. You can go in and do what you want in the game and sometimes find myself just pitched up at my camp by the ocean just reading lore books, or finding clues in books and scrolls to learn new abilities or powers or craft items. Other times I want to explore or just fight. The game will take you away and a must for all fans.

Similar games if you play are xcom, rome/viking expeditions, gears tactics, wasteland series
If you play the games above and the you tube videos don’t get you excited enough then this is a must in your game library. I had this on my wish list not sure about it as watching videos looked like mayhem with fire and explosions and everything going on and put it to the side, Then I caved in and bought it and thought what was I waiting for. Don’t be set back by the release date as its well ahead of its time in every way and at £20 its well worth the price. At 60 hours and only about 20% through I already got 33 pence per hour of game play and hardly scratched the game. On sale even better which is what I got it for at £10

Dlc wise there isn’t much for the game. The definitive edition is the was to go for the updated experience but the only dlc comes as a sup port package with just lore and no game content.
Coop options available as well which I haven’t used but it must be great with friends having your own character with a group of friends.

Graphics
6/10
The graphics on wasteland 3 are great for the type of game it is. This type of game does not rely on AAA graphics because the story and game play and iso view has no demand for it but the level designs, characters and gear are very well presented and even zoomed up close are identifiable and clear.

sound and music
6/10
The sound design is not too bad the weapons all have distinctive sounds but not varied to each type within but they all work well. The music is background music and suits the mood but no major score here. The voice over talking is a bonus to the game and really helps as the text builds up for the story

game play
9/10
The game play is where wasteland 3 shines and becomes itself. The turn based tactics are a dream to play with while always shifting your gear and create the perfect squad in battles. There is a lot to do here from crafting and building your ideal soldiers then the squad to work together is a big part of the game. The levels and locations are well done with plenty to find, do and speak to. The game play is a mix of old school point and click adventure with the rpg and turn based mechanics. It’s the kind of game where you sit there and say what will I do today and with your pen and paper writing fown quest info and clues and certain tasks you wish to complete later if you don’t have the right skills.
The skills and abilities is a large part of making this game a success , although not confusing like many rpg games the skills and perks for characters have a lot to play with and create plus the perks and skills on weapons and gear all make the experience compelling and engaging.

controls
8/10
The controls work great . All keys and controls are changeable to your style and preference. I use a mmo mouse and assigns all the needed buttons to my 12 button mouse and only use the up down left and right keys on my keyboard making it a great game to sit back and play. The menu layouts are clean and tidy and the UI is great considering there I so much to do and see in the game including the menu alone
Story
8/10
The story at 27 hours has barely opened up and with game completions I rarely get any where near what others complete games at but I like to take my time and see and do things . The story is great full of characters and people to see and do things for, multiple ways to do things and when it comes to missions and combat there are so many choices how you want to do things with character builds, weapon choices and mods and much more. The story pulls you in deeper and leaves you wondering what has happened all the while meeting more and more characters who play apart in the wasteland world either for you and your squad, side missions, main missions or just become part of the society.
Overall the story opens up like any rpg game but wasteland 1 and 2 already proved these features before so its even better

conclusion

The game is a gem and the 2 dlc for the game open up even more game play and options. Its worth the money but even better when on sale. If you’re a fan of rpg, turn based games with combat and adventure then this will work for you. Similar games rome/Vikings expeditions, xcom series, phantom doctrine , gears tactics are all similar style of games

Due to the game not needing top graphics and sound as its not that kind of a epic game like skyrim that rely on it I am awarding this game a bonus 10 points just for the quality of the game , how it plays and what its about.
Overall solid 47 out of 50 for the game This game gets a star buy token as it is a great game

Okay so here is my review which normally I give myself 25 hours till I leave a review but unfortunately I have clocked up 79 hours on the game and totally forgot about the review as I got so involved with the game ( good sign)

To the review.

Graphics
8/10
As this is not a major AAA game by the standards of first person shooters and other rich environment games, Xcom2 to still holds it itself to looking gorgeous. With a iso top down view there is so much packed in to the level designs with environment cover and options to play your game with the finder details required to make this game immersive. The cut scenes look great with each unit , alien and robot bringing something different to the visuals. Overall the graphics are great for this game which is why it makes the experience immersive.

sound and music
7/10

There is no major composed score to the game like the major game skyrim and heavily financed productions but the music quality is still great. The action style soundtracks that play out through the battles, cut scenes and in the background when at your base brings tension and ambience to the game. The sound in general is very good with mulitple voice over characters both in play and also cut scenes. The whole tension of having to stop the alien invasion with the cinematic style music and sound makes the game more engaging as if your playing a game and watching a action movie. The sound affects on guns and weapons are a basic concept with variation but it works.

game play
9/10
This is where the game shines the gameplay. I cant put the game down and even when I boot up my pc to start work or even head to my steam game library to play something, somehow I always seem to scroll down to xcom2 and hesitate and remind myself of the major plot, mission or upgrade I currently last saved on and pulling me back in to the game. After 2 weeks I have clocked up 79 hours not giving another game a chance to play. If you have experience with xcom games or other turn based games this is not new in mechanics. The difference with xcom2 especially if the way its played through customization of characters, base building , research upgrades and weapon and gear upgrades. This is only a fraction of what you can do which choices with which missions to take on which are a lot offering mulitple routes in your campaign. All this in questions make the game a personal one to you but also no 2 games will ever be the same. There is nothing like putting your squad together based on tactics and playing it out on the battlefield. With the cut scenes inbetween fights and watching your men and enemy move around the fields each decision is crucial to your campaign and resulting in your mission and also squad. There is nothing better than pausing your game play to look at which solder has the best advantage to take an enemy with which action to then switch to another solider to see the options to take down enemies but all the while planning your next 3 moves to get around, through or outsmart your enemy all the while trying to reach an objective.

The game is just awesome in so many ways. The dlcs for the game though not many is a matter of preference. A heavy understanding of each form you tube and steam review gave me a insight of what I was looking for as some dlc do route the base game in to other directions bringing much pain than pleasure. In the end the war of the chosen was enough for me as the biggest dlc offering more content and options as well as mission and character upgrades to the game.

controls
9/10
The controls for this kind of game are great and presented in a easy way. What you can do in shortcuts which are programable are also displayed on the HUD screen. I use a mmo mouse with 15 buttons linked up to my most used making things easier with also a 3 foot pedal system for turning the screen around so all of my games have a great control scheme. But in general for a basic set up everything is customizable to make the game your own.

Story
8/10
The story if you have played other xcom titles is based on the same agenda, aliens aliens and robots. The world has been taken over and everyone living along side each other but with the exception of some who want to fight back bringing you in to the game. The game introduces many older characters in game and reference along with many news ones both hostile and allies. The story pulls you in as you go along with lots of missions main quests and lots of side missions along with so many alternative missions to gain resources, upgrade squad, scientists and engineers all needed to progress as well as rescue missions when soldiers get captured to general resource and income missions. With so many battle layouts and environments the mission list is endless and that’s without the alternative squad choice options. The story moves and pulls you in so every move you make seems like its important

conclusion

Xcom2 with the war of the chosen dlc is something I have been looking in to so long but was put off not by the turn base game play but the alien background. I was always more of a zombie , combat army style of player and always put this aside. Currently playing so many turn based games like wasteland 3, rome expeditions, phantom doctrine which are all great games, I decided to play gears tactics on game pass which dived in to the alien background. This making my mind about xcom2 which takes these style of games further with the customization of the solders but more important your base decided it for me , since then haven’t looked back and every time I come off the game my campaign is so engaging that I want to get right back on
Overall solid 41 out of 50 for the game This game gets a gold star award from me making it one of the most enjoyable games in my library right now

I will not write a details review on this game as i ended up refunding the game after 17 mins . The game does look good in videos and you can have a real blast in solo and coop but i just felts like right off the start the controls were not right for me. The mapping of keys dont let you to choose what you want and then delete the duplicate key without creating a secondary key. I use a mmo mouse which the game recognised most of the buttons the same as i like to use this for most of my commands. The game is a good game and the reason i did recommend it but its just not for me I hard even made it to the first island but the physics of movement were a little rough for me along with the mapping, and smaller things like crouch cant be toggle you have to hold the key down. Looks fun though

Graphics
7/10
This kind of game is not graphic demanding and its not that type of game. My score of 6 is not a reflection of the graphics not being good its just not that type of a game and to put a higher number would only just pump up the overall score without the game being a AAA kind of game. The graphics are really good though each item is clear, and the designs are fun both base and community content. The rooms and environments are fun to play in and it never gets boring

sound and music
5/10
Again, like many scores the sound and music is not something this game needs to or does well. Its basic with sounds of various objects being interacted with and the music itself I find to mute as it all gets quite repetitive and in the way after a while

game play
9/10
This is where the game shines. This is a great sit back with your controller and work stuff out chilled out game. It will get you brain going and a hand pad and pen will be needed to note stuff down. You play themes levels each with puzzles tied into that theme all blended with superb environments. The solo game is great for chilled out games and the coop is so much fun when you want to have a blast with a friend solving the rooms. The game play is a warm welcome when you want a break from the RPG and shooters in your library. This is a go to game every now and again when I want a break and not be hunched up over my desk.

Overall controls are great not many buttons and all of them placed perfectly on the game pad with the exception of a couple things like placing stuff around or dragging items but nothing too game breaking. Not sure about using a keyboard and mouse but I would imagine these are fine as well but this is a great game for once to lean back in a chair away from the monitor to play with a gamepad.

Story
7/10
Again its hard to put a higher score on the story as its not the kind of game that has a story other than themed escape rooms all linked in to each other however the puzzle writing and concept would play a part in the story for each room and these are done very well

conclusion

The game is a gem and one that has come a long way and compared to many in the genre this one has the brain teasing fun element with its cartoon style graphics and challenging puzzles. The community-based content is great as well to see what ideas others come up with. With regular community rooms added daily and monthly you are never to short of having a challenge with also the option to make up your own escape rooms as well. Solo or coop this game is perfect in your library of games when you want something relaxing but also challenging without the mouse and button mashing
Overall solid 36 out of 50 for the game This game gets a star buy token as it is a great game
The overall score is not reflection of the game itself as this game is quite unique to most other games where graphics, score , sound effects are important elements of the game. This game although looks good does not depend on nor does it try to be the best in these areas and that is why the review is scored low in these areas and not because they are bad

Graphics
9/10
When you are looking for an immersive simulation game F1 manager does not fault in this department. Think of when fifa first starting to bring the cut scenes and extra content from just the general game play how amazing it was to see things come alive, this how F1 manager looks and gives the game a authentic feel gearing you up to the race. The camera positions and angles for each track are a nice touch bringing the whole game together and exciting when switching camera in a race. The menu layouts are nice and full of customization and options but I would like to see graphics and motion graphics introduced as some stage. When changing and developing engine and car parts to actually see the car parts on the screen what your working on and things like that.

game play
9/10
The game play has everything you would expect from a F1 management game. There isn’t many f1 management games out there and motosport manager would be the one most compare to and fan base coming from there to this. There are differences where as motosport dos cover more indepth options but this is something that can be eventually influenced into frontiers game but graphically F1 manager has the upper hand bringing the game play much more enjoyable. You have the options to change many things on your car through development all to help push your car and team forward. There are a few tweaks that would be great for the game which will probably be developed as time goes on but one for me is when going through menus and sub menus there is a back button which I would prefer to go back to the previous screen rather than going back to a main menu then going back to where you was. Again a bit of coding nothing that cant be sorted. All in all the game is fun and when played doing all your management and developing during the week and when race weekend comes its so excited and satisfying to see your hard work being pushed along with the great graphics.

The game although on consoles I cant see how comfortable I could be playing with a controller as its menu work, sliders and button clicks so playing on the pc for me using the mouse seems like the only way the game could work at its best but this is a preference thing. Other than that the controls are pretty easy with everyone on screen. The race day options and controls are laid out well for each driver with options available in split screen for each driver actions

conclusion
8/10
The game does present itself very well and not forgetting it’s the first of its kind with this kind of immersive graphical gameplay and any F1 fan will enjoy running their own team and being involved . Im not a fan of F1 where I would sit there the whole weekend watching the coverage but I will follow the sport are various occasions and this game has really got a lot of love from me , so true fans will be in their element. The game will have a annual options keeping up with the real world of f1 with teams, rules and drivers and along with graphical and mechanical development on the game this could go on to become a yearly treasure for player but also for frontier if they can make this game work. It does has a few problems but to me nothing major and I have not seen hardly half of what other players talk about but what game gets released these days even with a day 1 patch that goes smoothly. The developers seem passionate about this game and they know they have a goldmine on their hands with for a annual game release and will not let it go downhill.
I have many frontier games and they have never let anyone down with there titles before so I cant see this one going south. As for the full price all depends if you’re a big f1 fan and willing to play and wait for any future updates and changes, it is kind of top end in price but as a casual f1 fan like me waiting for a discount might be a better option or if you are low on funds.
My guess is watch plenty of coverage on tube and see others playing and reviewing the game. Don’t let bad reviews take away your interest unless they are valid ones that do not have the promise of being fixed as the game is great and should get so much better.
Overall bold 34 out of 40 for the game

Graphics
8/10
Days gone graphics are quite stunning. The drive and walks through the full forest to come across a abandoned town, farms and many other dwellings is a pleasure to come across. The cut scenes are great and really immersive to the game and story. When playing the game everything comes in to place and the graphics pulls it together nicely. Plyed on a 2060rtx full graphics settings 1080p 60 frame no drop in frames

game play
8/10
The game play is pretty much like any other 3rd person shooter and survival game. The survival element is not to be confused with many other survival game out there like green hell, scum, the forest etc where your health depends on metabolism and in depth body management. The basics of healing are required for injuries but no need to eat or drink water. The gun play is amazing similar to those game like division, encharted and many other similar games done well. The mechanics work well with the inventory wheel for crafting and choosing items and weapons. The only thing that might need getting used to is the item wheel where you push the left stick towards the item you want i.e the medical section which then as you push further out the dead zone on the stick openes up a outer section with more options for medical items which you can select left or right and expands as you unlock more items. This is the same with all weapons and items so once you get used to it it works. The skill tree is good like most games to improve 3 areas of your character each with unique skills and choices depending on how you want your character to play out. The focus system to slow down time is great giving you that extra moment to pin point your shots and also to slow time to get what item you want ready. The game play out like any other open world and is amazing to discover. The pause menu opening up mulitple screens form a great details map, to collectable, story mission lists, inventory and much more is a pleasant to the eye and well done with lots to read and discover.

controls
8/10
The controls are well done. I have not played on mouse and keyboard as I prefer 3rd person shooters on game pad but the game can get quite hectic when you come across mulitple zombies and hoardes and having the controller with all the buttons you need works better for me. All keyboard keys can be custom key bind but the game pad works so well with the game and everyone at a touch of a button. The player movement is amazing with a cover system to hide. No so much division style glued to the cover but still go against it. There is no lay down just stand and crouch but nothing game breaking there.

Story and conclusion
8/10
The story is where the game shines. You really get in to the game with its characters and back story how this place ended up how it did. Most of the missions are done solo but some with the help of other ncps but most of the game play boils down to you.

The story has a rich background with great characters approx. 20 for the main story plus more for side quests and back story. You have your main story quests and lost of side quests opening up more main story task then you have your every day normal rescue or free people. Clear infestations and many other tasks. Nothing feels too repetitive because you can choose what you want to do next and space it out. If you just want to head out and discover a new place you can. Seeing it get dark and try find a location to get to sleep to pass the night then head out in the morning to handle what ever task you want satisfies the game minds really giving you the control of what you want to do. The game does not lock you out of missions and story quests by not completing something or missing something. Its quite linear so you will not miss anything like many other story driven games like cyber punk and Witcher. I have become a big fan of zombie games recently but this one is a great one to dive in to for the story or just the chill out moment and burn a couple hours away from the usual games. Navigating around the menus to see what you can unlock, upgrade or read is a pleasure and all in all completes the whole game. Im 25 hours in and hardly touched the surface with only a handful of main story missions mostly for the first camp and a few side quests and infestations cleared so I can easily see this over 100 hour game with a bit of sight seeing and just looking around.
Overall solid 32 out of 40 for the game

There are many games out there in this genre some have the multi player aspect and no story or some graphical benefits but game play lacks. This is a all round complete game backed by a big distributor and a developer that clearly loves making games. Overall the game is worth the money on full price but even better when on sale.
