Okay, so seeing as I already own Bioshock, I get the remastered version for free. Now for starters, yes there was some small screen tears in some of the distant lighting, but that's nothing that a small update can't fix.. that or my laptop just isn't great (the more likely option). But besides from a few tears, this game looks gorgeous, I'm part way through and it's brilliant. Now I've seen a lot of complaints about the controls and the camera and what not. Well I've played the original Bioshock several times over and this remastered version feels exactly the same (control-wise) and I don't see anything wrong with that, the controls are fine. People are just way too far up their own back-sides to see a good game when one comes along, they expect everything to be just how THEY want it. So yes, it is a good remastered version of Bioshock. Now if you've never played the series before or you are still clinging to hope after all the crappy reviews you've read previously, give the game a go. Bioshock is and always has been a brilliant game and an amazing series. And after an hour or so, if it really isn't for you, well you've always got the choice to have it refunded, and at least then you actually gave it a go for yourself.

Absolutely amazing, no game like it, the perfect experience for horror lovers!
