I really enjoyed this. At first, characters felt a bit uncanny, but they quickly grew on me. I loved discovering the universe of this game, and I really enjoyed the story.
Combat was decent. Spells were fun, the basic attacks can feel a bit repetitive, but if you time your Deity Summon right, it works. Boss fights are way more interesting than normal fights, so it's good that there are quite a few.

I'm never a fan of pixel art, but this rogue like is so fun to play, fantastic fx, engaging story, great narration, and smooth combat... I can only recommend. My only regret is not playing this sooner.

It's a relaxing solo game, with adorable main characters, and great music that I now listen to outside of the game to wind down. The game is beautiful, and rightfuly so, as it is all about exploration, getting to understand the universe Kay and Yu live in, and getting to know them while you pursue your main objective (which I shall not spoil for you).
I had a hard time using "Flow threads" (a fun way to move around in the world) with mouse and keyboard, but once I plugged my controller and used it instead, it became fluid and fun.
This game is chill, though there is a small combat system that gives you a bit to think and react, but just enough to be engaging for the length of the game, nothing too crazy, and I actually enjoyed it very much.
I thought it was smart, elegant, relaxing, and came back to finish off some of the achievements even if I had gone through the story already.
And I am secretly hoping to know what happens next for Yu and Kay (well, since this comment is public, it isn't a secret anymore!). It's so refreshing to see story telling around a healthy relationship, kinky, and yet every-day-brushing-your-teeth-together relatable. Thank you for this experience! I am sad that it's over, like a good book... and no, imagining volume 2 with the cows rebelling against the outlaws won't cut it for me!

Seriously, it's full of humour, and I don't want to spoil it, but typing becomes super fun!
The design is smart, and the art is terrible in an endearing way... just play it!
