Storytelling and Its Integration into the gameplay? *OH GOD NO*

The Main story pulls you out of the game you're playing repeatedly. You'll be having fun quietly scoping in on game to hunt, or freeing a compound, and BOOM UNAVOIDABLE STORY OUT OF NOWHERE NO MATTER WHERE ON THE MAP YOU ARE. Immediately yoinking you from where you are to be talked at with nothing you can do, before being dropped off at a random spot on the map. If it only happened once or twice it would be one thing, but that is the delivery method for nearly every main story beat.

Id discuss my issues with the storytelling itself, but it would be so very very spoilery.

*Faith's island was a decent chapter though*

I invested 30+ hours in the demo, and now they over tripled the amount of things to unlock and use? Yes Please.

Go in blind, it's a novel experience best played with a friend over voice comms. Unique gameplay mechanics from level to level, along with the asymmetric experience makes it well worth the price tag. I just can't wait for DLC.

The DLC is some of the best borderlandsing in the series. Main game has good controls, and enjoyable action but the storytelling is lacking. Honestly...the DLC keeps all the highlights of the gameplay but with WAY better storytelling and humor.
