I don't do MP only games but this is a must, sure it has server stability issues but apart from that i've had 24 hours of fun and still wanting more, you will truly enjoy it, people are friendly (when they actually help xD) not everyone is a troll

p.s please devs bring SP to the game as well

Reason i'm giving it a negative review is simply because, Russians on the EU servers, are hacking, using bots, exploiting by going through terrain and building a base, devs don't check the forums frequently nor their emails, Don't buy right now

Since release this game has evidently gotten better, however it's still grindy asf, the game is good and fun, not many bugs (from my personal experience, yours may differ especially if you go searching for them)

MP is slow, not dead, but not too many players, especially now thankfully they've added SP although the blackwood map is lacking fish in the ocean in all but one area, so tame a cat to fetch fish for you and blackwoods coop tether distance is limited, so you can't go to another island without your partner experience issues, but on the ocean map, you can sail far from each other (in 1 zone, if you leave, your partner will get dragged to you (in person or ship so you can have a fleet)

I do recommend getting it, MP as in every survival game is trollish and time consuming, theirs no story because yano, it's a survival sandbox game (duh) lol

I do believe the game will be much better after the roadmap has been complete, hopefully soon but doubtful.

Game seems alright although the game lacks a few commense sense stuff i.e

Foundations = Wood + nails sure, but why the cordage? It takes forever and ALOT OF TRAVELLING approx an hour or 2 just to even get enough stuff to make a small house providing you haven't been mauled.

1 log = 1 wooden plank/Stick?, why?, a log is generally alot bigger and we should get quite a few from 1 log.

Animal skin = No animal skin clothes? we could possibly have this and uses sinew to string them together.

No string/rope alternative i.e sinew, back in the old days they used sinew for bows and probably other stuff too.

Still unable to make normal wooden arrows that deal less damage than metal arrows, again why isn't this a thing?

No spear?, pretty much no melee weapons, i know melee with animal is deadly but still the games definetly lacking in melee stuff.

No Traps, no spike traps?, no adding spikes onto walls?

Can tame chickens/wabbits, but not steal baby wolf/bear cubs and watch them grow into our fuzzy friends?

While we're on the animal topic, why is the WHOLE MAP littered with tons of animals?, you essentially have to clear a plot of land before you can actually settle down

Feathers for bed? i'm presuming pillow? what if i don't want a pillow? and whats this power symbol underneathe the bed crafting icon?, do i really need power for a bed?

Plant bed, why would i need cordage for that?, i could hammer wood and nails into a rectangle and presto!

This is an interesting game if honest, from first glance it doesn't seem like much, but if you love survival games and 7DTD then you'll love this, it feels hard to get into at the start, finding out how to get resources, eventually it becomes really easy over time (apart from those blasted leaves).

Game does have few bugs nothing game breaking, but its fun and you would more likely enjoy it, game deserves more credit

Good game, needs more content.

It's a cool interesting survival game with huge potential, although if you write in discussions becareful ^Fun^ Dreemax loves to get ban happy on ya booty

*update* He finally got upset and banned me, happy gaming peeps.

Quite a good game, had no issues so far apart from the odd fps drops, i'd say its worth it.

Nice stuff and items, be nice if they added more variants instead of making all the cosmetics iron stats

Things i liked

large and minor cities have villages that effect them.

Trading Posts which is great addition.

Generals don't age as fast, so they live much longer than they prev did.

Archers have been improved better than previous historical TW games, they seem a little better.

Dismount for cavalry

Civil war because the generals lose loyalty insanely to the extent where i had to fight all 8 of them because it was easier to kill them than spend 1800x8 gold than to keep them

Dislikes

After crippling cities via killing their villages, the game appears easy, by that i mean soon as you cripple them they lose troops each turn and eventually they will die off (unless their city buildings have food income)

No trade agreement button


Not much variety between units

Units could be better detailed

Units die even when your units weapon doesnt touch them (no touching physically)

i'd say its an alright game, worth probably £20
