A VERY ENJOYABLE DISCOVERY

As for visual novel/narrative genre, I have tried many games in my life, but almost every one of them lacked some kind of a gameplay feature that went beyond making choices and experience passively the result.
When I started this game I expected no more than that, and at first it looked like that, but as the plot unfolded, the first class trial started. I was amazed by the mechanics the game used to let you take part in the trial, making deductions and having control over the investigation. It was really a big surprise and although some other mini-games were kind of dumb, I really enjoyed the feeling of control the game gave me while proceeding through the investigation.
I also liked the drawings of the characters but the environment graphics are undoubtably quite ugly.
The english dubbing is really good, but I was rather disappointed with it being over the entire dialogue only in certain parts of the game, for example the trials, while the other dialogues have just pre-made phrases.
The Soundtrack is just AWESOME!! Really catchy tunes for each situation and mood.
Without making spoilers I would say that the plot itself is not the best I have seen in games like this one, but it's still very engaging as you can guess it little by little from the clues of the investigations.
One big downside I have noticed is the total absence of punishment if you get the answer wrong too many times during the trials. The game is faaaar too forgiving: There isn't even a GAME OVER, you just get all your lives back and countinue from the same point!!!!
Worth reporting that during the investigation, or rather between one case and the following, the protagonist is free to wander in the school and talk to other characters, but these sections are just very boring and you can't really avoid them.


In summary:

PROS:
+Cool detective feeling and fun trials
+Great soundtrack, audio and dubbing
+Interesting plot
+Good-looking character models

CONS:
-Too forgiving for the mistakes in the trials
-Some mini-games are just bad
-Many dead times during the game
-3D graphics are meh

Una gioia per gli occhi, per le orecchie e per il gamepad, nonostante sia complicato abbastanza da fare perdere la pazienza più e più volte. In ogni caso, un acquisto obbligato!

Highly addictive. 5/7 Would complete again.

Questo non è un semplice videogioco, questo è IL videogioco. Un'avventura che cattura dal primo minuto di gioco e che crea assoluta dipendenza. Ogni scelta influenza l'andamento dei fatti futuri e questo è quanto più realistico un gioco può essere. Inoltre ci si affeziona ad ogni personaggio e si provano emozioni intense durante ogni secondo del gameplay.
Non ho altro da aggiungere. SEMPLICEMENTE FANTASTICO.

Non vedo l'ora che esca la seconda stagione...

Una grafica stupenda, un'ottima I.A. e una tale semplicità nelle meccaniche rendono questo un capolavoro dello Stealth :D
