I rarely make posts or review games, normally I just assume that if I didn't enjoy a game that I wasn't the type of gamer they were trying to attract. This game is the exception.

I've put close to 140 hours into H&G and it's gotten worse almost every update. It's now a poorly designed, massivly bloated corpse of what could have been a fun game. From the malformed and nearly impossible hitboxes to pay to win tactics, extreme difficulty in reporting issues both with the game and with other players its been a terrible time, and I wish I had my money and time back. The sheer stupidity of ome game features boggles the mind: Semi-automatic rifles an bolt-action rifles were the two major weapons of WW2 and very different, yet the game treats the bolt action like a slower, somehow less accurate version, yet its more expensive and down an unlock tree from the semi-auto. Every SMG is fantastic and can out shoot a rifle across almost any enviornment including waybeyond its stated range. Paratroopers can bail out and be on the ground in seconds yet are also almost impossible to shoot down. Tanks are terrible against other tanks, a hit on the wheel and a hit to the glacias plate are treated the same and deal the same damage, its also 2 hits to kill anothe tank because of this, 2 hits anywhere.
Spawn camping, not a design issue but a community one, is accepted as almost a legitimate stratergy and not dealt with what so ever.

All of this and more leads me to one conclusion, this wasnt a game, its a money sponge and theyre using pay to win to get every drop and cent out of the dedicated players, so good luck if you're new, youll get an M1 Garand and go up agains a Panther backed by paratroopers surrounding you and every other player taking turns killing you as soon as youre visable from half way across the map.
