Now, really, can you say something bad about Witcher games in general? The series are pinnacle of RPG gaming, and developers really tried to present the best RPG experience to the gamers, and, I dare to say, they succeeded.

The story of Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings takes place after the first game. Someone blamed you for murdering a King, and you set off to find out the culprit. Simple as that, but, the story is also about Geralt regaining his memories.

The graphics are quite good and enchanted in relation to the first Witcher game. Attentions to the small things are amazing, from the detailed characters and environments to special effects, and Witcher is a truly an eye candy for gaming masses. In regard to that, you really need a high end PC machine to play the Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

The world of Witcher is huge and along the way you will meet a bunch of interesting characters, have a lot of...virtual sex, fight many kind of monsters, etc. Sometimes the game feels a bit to grindy, but your choices and fights you are engaging yourself into really impact the outcome of the story. Sometimes the battles seem a bit to tough, and RPG beginners could find the game more challenging, but, once you gain enough experience under your belt, the battles become easier.

All Witcher games are highly recommended, and this one is no exception. This is simply something best that RPG games can offer. Don't miss it.

A game that old school RPG players waited for a long time. A true isometric RPG in Baldur's Gate style. Fantastic gameplay where tactical combat is more important than fast clicking. For example, the old/new stats system really make you question and forces you to think seriously when it comes to choosing your weapon or armour that grants specific attribute bonuses, or, for that matter, when you are creating you character.

The endurance - health system is also one of the factors you must consider when you enter a battle, because, when you lose all the endurance in the battle you get knocked out. When the battle is over you regain your senses, but you lose health. The only way to regain your health is by sleeping in the Inn, using the camping supplies, and, of course, keeping an eye out on the endurance levels all together, because, when your character health is depleted, he/she will die.

There are so many things you can do in the game and you can easily be side-tracked, but, as it happens, the main story doesn't get lost in the mix. It only expands, whether it is by adding the content and backstory to your companions, or by upgrading your stronghold and solving quests inside it.

All in all, it is a great kickstarted game for the die hard and greenhorn RPGers alike.

Really great game and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I spent many hours sneaking by the Orcs and stabbing them, battling the archenemies spawned by nemesis system. The story isn't that good, but gameplay and everything else is excellent.

As I've mentioned, the game gives you the ability to create your own Nemesis, tailored by the encounters on the battlefield. To tell you the truth, I was worried that nemesis system would be bad, but it turned out that it was the highlight of this game and the one thing I really enjoyed.

If I would compare Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to some other games, than my choice would be Batman Arkham (fighting style) and Assassins Creed (stealth) series. What's more, Shadow of Mordor improves on their fighting and stealth formula: decapitating the enemies is certainly better than punching them (Batman Arkham series). Sneaking and passing the enemies is enjoyable too, and sometimes you immerse yourself in hacking and slashing, sneaking and dodging, that you totally forget why did you come to that area of the map and what the hell do you need to do to solve your quest. Yeah, killing Orcs was never more fun!

So, what is the weak point of this game?

The story.

It lacks the narrative, the thing that will hook you on, the depth you need to feel from a story presented in Lord of the Rings universe. Because of it, at least for me, the game isn't worth a second playthrough.

But, all in all, it is a great sandbox third person action game with RPG elements I would recommend to everyone.

I have a confession to make: I really hated Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. That was the first Elder Scrolls game I was acquainted with and I was disappointed. Who knows how many times I started playing it and I always gave up after an hour or so.

Considering the above, I didn't expect much from its fifth instalment called Skyrim. But hey, I thought, I should at least try it and give it a chance.

So, there I was, couple of hours in the game, hacking and slashing the enemies and doing silly things like reading the books I've collected during my travels. Couple of hours after that, I bought a house and started stacking those books on a shelf inside. The weird thing was, the game wasn't about buying a house, books and reading and stacking them on bookshelf at all!!! A new threat has risen and you are a Dragonborn, warrior destined to do many great things. You must fight and prepare for what is to come, you must save the world!! But, as it happens, you can do many things besides that: read, buy a house, collect weapons, become an assassin, thief or a mage.

The world is so vast and it gives you freedom to explore and do your quests as you see fit and when you see fit to do so. Along the way, you will collect some awesome rewards. You will become the enchanter and blacksmith, you will be able to craft dragonbone armour and improve its characteristics by enchanting it. You will do many things.

And that is what makes The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim so enjoyable.

All in all, my opinion of the series improved and I really can't wait for the next instalment of the Elder Scrolls franchise.

Wait...16 years old game with a new facelift? Hell yeah!

I will not tell you about how great the campaign of this game really is. I will not tell you about the fact that you will lose yourself as you build cities and level up your heroes through turn based combat. For me, the main characteristic of this game is its multiplayer capability.

Play this game with or against your friends. Explore the world, build your cities and engage in combat. Even after all this years, game remains an immersive experience that could easily take over your life. You'll start dreaming about it, about its races and towns, about Ivor, your favourite Rampart hero with Elves speciality and Archery as a basic skill.

70+ hours of gameplay I spent playing this game tells how great Heroes of Might and Magic III really is. Buy it, play it and let this game take over your life for a bit.
