I just remembered why I dont buy live service games. They ALWAYS turn to ♥♥♥♥ no matter how good they are. I dont trust sony with any of my information.

Apparently Sony backed down this time. The game is very fun especially with the boys. The camp in the writing is very reminiscent of starship troopers and I love it. While sony is sony, the Developers seem to understand who their audience is, and actually know how to have a positive relationship with their community. Im still wary of the live service aspect, but the gameplay is very fun at time of writing this review.

I have been having a lot of fun with the game so far. The combat is very Hammerwatch, but in a more open constructed world with quests and a bit more player agency. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Some of the complaints I have seen in reviews seems to be from those who were hoping for a Heroes of Hammerwatch II, but this game is much closer to Hammerwatch than HoH. The devs have already released a patch solving complaints with some bugs and adding an option for instanced loot, and have showed commitment to address many of the complaints that the community has raised, like being able to use save files across multiple multiplayer worlds.

I have spent so much time on this game. I will not ever get that time back.

Fun game. First colony sim type of game that i really got into.
