An absolutely amazing immersive sim, an improvement over the first game over all accounts.

Level designs are absolutely top notch allowing for both powered & unpowered traversal of the map, densely packed with alternate routes and hidden treasures. Without getting into spoilers, some of the levels are absolutely fascinating with their unique aspects (shifting level design, multiple factions, natural phenomena that influence perception).

The addition on an entirely new playable character with unique abilities adds a whole depth of replayability. The powers are interesting and diverse, and better balanced and allow for more engaging non-lethal gameplay with Mesmerize and Domino. The additional enemy types test your full repertoire and have unique combat patterns and ways to approach handling them.

If you want to go loud, the toybox of abilities you get are just a joy to go on a rampage with. Combat is short and punchy, just like the first game, where quick reflexes, fast problem solving, and crowd management are the key to victory in a straight up fight. Everyone has low total health, so fights are over quickly with you either committing or disengaging if you get in too deep. Using your powers & tools on the fly makes for an amazingly difficult experience where it really rewards split second thinking.

On top of all that, the world building and lore is absolutely phenomenal. The environment oozes charm with the sense of something on the brink of beautiful that has become mismanaged and rundown. There are glimpses of grandeur hidden beneath the disuse, and it really relays the corruption that has overtaken Karnaca. The more bright island feel is a great juxtaposition with the dark and grimy Dunwall from the first game. The lore being built up with a world map and exploration of a place on the precipice between greatness and collapse is an amazing feat the world designers have put off, with a steampunk vibe that sells it.

Definitely would recommend, 10/10.

An amazing Metroidvania. 10/10, would recommend.

Well balanced, tight controls, accessible, and filled to the brim with content. Not to mention it has fantastic art and phenomenal music.

Become a space Indiana Jones. In a time loop. 'nuff said.

More accurately, I will say this game focuses on the exploration, curiosity, and wonder of archaeology, rather than combat (which this game has none, so don't go in expecting guns-a-blazing, but instead expect finding the breadcrumbs of a civilization). Explore the ruins of a civilization long past, discover their secrets, and survey alien worlds with unique time-based mechanics in a densely packed solar system.

This game heavily focuses on breadth over depth, yet is accessible through the use of an excellent idea-map connecting all the clues you've discovered so far without revealing too much. It does an excellent job of making you ask "how do I do X" rather than "what do I do now?", and leaves you to follow where your own curiosity lies rather than follow a linear path.

The setting's aesthetics, the charming soundtrack, and environmental detail convey an atmosphere I've never experienced elsewhere as you find meaning in the mundane in the vastness of space. I'd compare it a bit to the optimistic nihilism that the youtube channel "Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell" endorses.

tl;dr: Fantastic puzzle & exploration experience, would recommend, 10/10

Early Access Review
Easily one of the best visual novels I have experienced, and it's only the beginning. The worldbuilding is absolutely phenomenal, the art is oozing personality, the voice-acting adds so much character, and the game itself is a great time. It's clear the developers are passionate about this project, and will see it to completion.

Although the current two routes are relatively short (~2-4 hours total), Minotaur is definitely worth your time.

Ahhh It's so good ;u;
While the art and plot I loved, the characters were definitely the sellling point

Watching the relationship grow between to the two protagonists, and their interesting interactions between eachother made me grow to really like them! Furthermore seeing them express emotions that are unlike their typical selves was fascinating and only made me love them even more

While I wouldn't reccomend this to all my friends, as they have different tastes in games than I, I would easily suggest giving this game a go if you love story based games with great characters!
