Developer and Sony wanted PSN linking even if you bought it on Steam.
After a major backlash the developer listened to the community and stepped back from PSN link for Steam.

Price of 9,99€ seems fair for the Early Access content thats already included.
Still feels very clunky and needs more polishing - for a one man developer it's pretty amazing how far this already got.

This game is just great. Even tho it lacks in some aspects the remaining ones shine more and brighter for it.
To begin with what is most important and true for any game -

The Gameplay
It's has decent controls and nothing too clunky.
Most important hardware is the mouse, you can navigate not only through dialogues and menues with it but also walk around.
There are some mini-games you have to play for the story with some of them being more fun than others. Personal preference plays a big role at this part - I guess.

The Story itself is very thrilling and there is some big character development alongside it. It's nothing too unusual yet very exciting and addictive to explore and play.

The character creator brings you alot of features - not only is there visual stuff you can adjust even the behavior is customizable to your liking.

Overall you get a good game, just wait for it to be priced with around 30€ and you won't regret it.

One of the best Co-Op games for up to 4 people out there.
Don't get me wrong, you can even enjoy it as single player too, and probably will progress a lot faster this way.
The game isn't taking itself too serious and memes a lot.

DLC's aren't a must have, but you will probably buy them after clearing the game anyway.
You don't have to wait for a sale, price of ~10€ is fair and you get lots of hours out of it.

-no story mode
-awkward menus and dialogs*
-re-used outdated engine**

+customizable characters
+co-op and PvP
+okay-ish fighting

Bought for: 25€
Playtime on time of Review: ~2 hours

This game feels just like Dragonball Xenoverse with the sad difference that there is no story or relevance in shops.
If you haven't played one of the Xenoverse games I break it a little bit down for you.
In Xenoverse there was this nice little possibility of doing Side-Quests, which you select and get sent to. After completing the demanded objectives you the mission is complete and you get back to your hub with NPC's for shops or main quest.

Sad thing in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is that the whole game seems to be just a quick copy&paste cashgrab from bandai.
While cutting out any sort of story mode and removing a lot of gameplay functions that worked well in Xenoverse you get a game that let's you:
customize your character (optics),
pick a role (melee, ranged, defense, healer),
choose your jutsus (2 slots, 1 ultimate, split on the 4 roles)
visit the shop npc to buy more optical improvements,
grind your way through about 2-5min long sidequests to get some jutsus from your self-choosen master (grindy af)

While this doesn't sound that bad I have trouble in seeing how they come up with a price higher than 20€ / 25$.
I'm still remembering playing the first Ninja Storm and beeing psyched of finally having some okay Naruto game to play - sadly Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker was a let down.

*you have to confirm talking to npc's (useless), get locked into mission complete screen for about 15seconds after every mission, forced tutorial (don't get me wrong, I don't dislike tutorials at all, only if they rape you)
**practically copy&paste of Xenoverse (no joke, same menus, fighting is same, hell even selecting abilities and whole sidequest thing)

I would really love to recommend it, while 2h playtime may in many cases not be enough for me to downvote a game, this case made it clear to warn everyone who's thinking about buying it.

It takes a lot before I go to such lengths, and I'm a big fan of Naruto, but I can and will not tolerate any $$$-grab games!

"You can throw your sword and teleport to it."

Was my original review for a long time. Now with other games and similiar mechanics I should help you understand how FFXV is better than them.

If you haven't played any other FF game or even found it hard to get into, then this game is exactly the right one for you.

It offers good action combat which means you can do combos and smash buttons to hit enemies, instead of turn based combat as you may know it. (Which there is kind of an option to change it into)
The story while being pretty basic is still astounding and a lot of fun to unveil.

You most likely already heard that the game is open world in it's first half, in which you will probably spend the most time of the game. At a certain point this switches and it gets very linear which is fine because at this point you are so deeply hooked with the story that you probably will just want to pursue it anyway.

While being an excellent Single-Player game, the game even tho it offers an Co-Op/Multiplayer mode isn't very well suited to be played otherwise than Single-Player.

There are several DLC which are called "Episodes". You don't have to buy them, they are fun but way too expensive for what they offer. These DLC's are meant to fill in Story holes, but if you don't mind you can just watch the cinematics of them on Youtube after finishing the Vanilla game Story and reaching the epilogue.

If you still aren't convinced about buying it, buy it and refund it within 2hrs if you don't like it. You probably won't refund it.

Finally playable.
Not the greatest character models, movement in station feels clunky, docking on own ships and leaving them afterwards is faulty (visually, bumping up and down inside it)

Nonetheless it has great gameplay if you look for a game with great economy and player impact on it.
You can build stations, manipulate existing stations, or attack them in an attempt to monopolize some wares to get all the credits one can need for the entertainment district.

Just get the complete edition in a sale for around 30€ and you won't regret it.

Bought the game, downloaded it started it, crashed 2 times before beeing able to play.
Tried again, was able to play tutorial, at the end crashed again.
Tried again, can choose Hero but suddenly no sound.

Opened Support ticket so they can resolve this.
Until then I cannot recommend this with the flaws it has right now.
This is a fully released game, not an early access title.

Seems like this has been abandoned from the developer. Nothing more than a Tech-Demo as it is now.
