Rimworld meets Mount and Blade, it is super addictive for those that are able to create their own goals and fun in an otherwise aimless sandbox RPG. Brutally unforgiving but equally rewarding for those who can persevere beyond the initial stages into the middle and late game army/base building mechanics. With 40 hours I have yet to explore the vast majority of the map. Even so, I have encountered 3 completely unique polities and many more roving bands of mobs to battle or be slaughtered by. Even the most powerful machines will likely experience crashing but my weak laptop can handle the game relatively well with mods and setting tweaks. It is a shame that such a great game is so unstable, but even with its issues it remains highly recommended in my book. Save often and do not f*** with beak things.

Definitely one of the best roguelikes ive played. Unique items make the game hardly get old and room layouts stay fresh even after 50+ hours. Buy this if you are looking for a good time sink.
