As a young kid, I played Putt-Putt and Freddi Fish, but I actually hadn't played Pajama Sam, although I wanted to. Playing this game for the first time as a twenty-year-old, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The target audience may be six-year-olds, but there are many jokes and references thrown in that I don't think I would've gotten back then. There were points that got a pretty good laugh out of me. Some of the puzzles can also be fairly challenging, even if you are an adult. The story is great and even though the game is pretty short, there is plenty of replay value with the sock collecting and the fact that certain items are in different locations in each playthrough. Also, that mine cart minigame is pretty fun in short bursts and gets very challenging. If you didn't grow up with the Humongous point-and-click games, then I'm not sure whether or not you would find this game enjoyable. However, for those who did, I think you should check or re-check this game out. Unlike some of the other Humongous games from the 90's, I think this one has stood the test of time and is definitely worth a download.
