What else it there to say? Its Resident Evil in all its survival horror glory, in glorious HIGH DEFINITION GRAPHICS.

For any fans of survival horror this is a must and the improved graphics are just the icing on what is already a pretty damn tasty cake.

Dead Island Epidemic is a MOBA from the folks at Stunlock and Deep Silver games.

The game has two basic game modes, your standard PVP MOBAesque game; Scavenger and the PVE Co-op game type Horde Mode. The scavenger game type is your usual MOBA game type. Your put into 3 teams of 4 and you have to gather the most supplies until your team can escape in their truck. The way to collect these supplies is to capture supply points, kill bigger zombie enemies, kill hoarders (Mini-boss mobs that spawn with a large ammount of supplies) and by killing other players and stealing supplies. The game is a really stripped back MOBA so if you arent used to MOBAesque games then this is a good start I'd say. There isnt many items (to be honest there is like 3-4 bandages) but i think in the future more will be added since it is only in its beta stages at the moment.

The other mode is the Horde mode which was the mode I enjoyed more tbh. You fight through waves of zombies with 3 other players and try to take supply points. At every supply point you will fight 3 waves of enemies and then a mini-boss and there are two supply points per map. After you take the two supply points you have to take on one of the games boss mobs which are a huge version of one of the elite mobs you will face throughout the game. I enjoyed this mode more mainly because im not a huge MOBA player and the team play with the other players was actually really enjoyable.

A few gripes with the game are the levelling and the pay to win.....*sigh*

The game takes AGES to level up your account, which means it takes really long to gain access to better weapons to be able to get that slight advantage. However this is also one of the games issues. The fact that other players can pay for these privileges and be able to get access to better weapons quicker. This means that new players will have a disadvantage when facing other players because they will be up against people with much stronger weapons. Also the character levelling really didnt feel like I was accomplishing much. I managed to get my armoured Bryce to level 9 and i still didnt feel like the levelling up had did much for me. (Note: there are two different types of levelling, account and character) Plus there is very little when it comes to customizing your character. I know the game is in its beta stages and there will probably be a lot more characters in the future but at the moment you will be running about with 2 people who are the same character with the same weapons.

Overall the game is alright. Its not AMAZING but its not bad. A good way to kill some time with friends and if you are a MOBA player you will probably enjoy this game tbh, and if you arent huge on MOBA's then its still a good way to get the basics on one of these types of games. 7/10

Harmless fun. A fast-paced third person shooter sort of in the same vein as TF2.....SORT OF.

The gameplay is just some fast paced mindless killing, kill the other team with 4 different types of guns and a huge amount of upgrades. The gun customisation is where this game excels. There is a lot of different parts to put onto the different types of guns you can have to suit your playstyle, whether you prefer to run in guns blazing with a mini-gun esque machine gun, or you prefer to stand further back and pick of enemies with a short burst rifle style laser gun....its all available with the expansive gun customisation!

I liked the humor in this game too, 3 different characters to choose from and like i said before its got that Team Fortress 2 style of humor and a similar art style. The game is free to play which is a plus and there is no pay to win additions to the game, all the gun upgrades are free!

However. There was a few things that the game couldve done better. The character customisation is where this game falls short. Don't get me wrong there is a good variety of clothing for characters but it is all really expensive. Now i know this is how the game has to make its money but even TF2 lets you unlock hats or character customisation pieces over time....this doesnt and it ends up with 8 guys all running about as the rambo esque guy. Plus everybody feels the same, again compare it to Team Fortress, all the characters in that game have depth and are all very different but in this its a skin slapped on the same character.

Overall for what Loadout is, it's not a bad game. It's fun, addictive and can kill a good few hours mowing down people with the assortment of weapons and pieces you can add to it. But these flaws kind of make the game fall short and really just make you wish you were playing TF2. 6/10

One of the greatest platformers of all time. The cinematic style of this game has always astounded me even to this day, the games visual style still holds up today which is good for a playstation one era game. From the dark, dirty factories of Rupture farms to the vast plains of Scrabania, this game is an absoloute pleasure to look at no matter where you go.

The gameplay is another one of this games strongpoints. The game focuses around controlling Abe, trying to escape Rupture Farms and save his Mudokon brothers from slavery by the Glukkons. The gameplay focuses around avoiding your adverseries by any means necessary, as Abe doesnt have a way to attack but that is where possesion comes in.

The controls are amazingly responsive, no real delay or anything which is an essential requirement for a sidescrolling platfromer of this type and Oddwolrd Inhabitants hit the nail on the head with this one. Abe controls just how he should, your main controls are the usual things such as running, sneaking jumping etc.

The tone of the game is also fantastic. The game has a dark overtone through the whole experience, showing how Oddworld is changing and not in a good way. But the game is sort of lightened up with the characters that are presented to us throughout the full game. All the characters are likable in this game in their own way. The Sligs, The Glukkons, The Mudokons and especially Abe himself.

Oddworld Inhabitants managed to create a character that was relatable in his own way, a character that was innocent enough but has been dropped into a situation that is so much bigger than he is. Oddworld Inhabitants have crafted a masterpiece here and i would recommend this game to anybody who loves platformers, action games or even stealth games.

My only complaints have to be the checkpoint system is irritating, with checkpoints being very scarce and this game being very unforgiving with one hit deaths, learning puzzles can be rather difficult. Also not being able to call upon more than one Mudokon at once is kind of annoying. Luckily both of these issues have been fixed in the sequal.

Abe's Oddysee still holds up today and is still one of my favourite games to date and a fantastic addition to the platforming genre. 8/10
