While at its core, this is a very fun game where you certainly get that "just one more turn (day)" feeling, there are just too many problems with it in its current state for me to truly enjoy. To start off with, this might be one of the buggiest 1.0's I've ever played, with frequent crashes, lost save data, strange pathing for units, achievements not working at all in some cases. The list is long and quite damning.

But even if you're quite resilient to the abundance of bugs, there is still the problem of many of the game's core designs. I mainly played survivor mode since the campaign did not interest me, and while it is mostly enjoyable, there are game design choices that make for a quite narrow experience.

The amount of units and buildings don't really offer interesting game choices, you always need the same set of buildings, and the map seed does not do a good enough job at creating interesting situations where I have to alter my playstyle. The pacing of the games are also way way wayyy too slow, where nights are mostly uninteresting as you have to build automatic defenses on every front, due to units moving at a frigid speed, so adapting to threats at night time becomes largely uneventful. There are lots more to point out, but it can be worth giving it a shot if you enjoy similar games, for me it was just a tad bit too much.

A pixaresque rendition of a souls-like that even younger people might enjoy. The game is a heartfelt tale of letting go and self forgiveness, even though the story itself can feel a bit rudderless at times it gets the job done well enough with plenty of long, beautiful cutscenes. The combat is fast and fluid and quite basic. Including everything you'd expect from a soulslike with light and heavy attacks, a dodge roll and a parry. Although it can be a bit clunky at times, especially when battling certain bosses, and here is somewhere it often departs from being a game aimed at younger generations as bosses can have significant difficulity spikes that feel a bit out of place.

A quite nice arcade-style game with flashy visuals. The one thing I wish it did better was evolution during the runs, as it is all runs feel kind of the same quite quickly, so don't expect this to be something you play for a long time. But in that sense it kind of holds true to its arcade inspirations as well, so do with it what you will.

A very competent CRPG/ARPG that is a very worthwhile, albeit flawed experience. It strives for much and succeeds in creating a world which feels dangerous and you feel extremely weak from the start and the sense of growing stronger and conquering the map is one of its highlights, with some memorable quests along the way. Other than this there are some concerns with the depth of many of its systems, this is an indie game with a small team so maybe not fair to poke at, but some of the systems regarding crafting, combat, agency in quests etc. are quite underbaked from what you'd expect of a RPG like this. It's definitely worth playing but it won't set your pants on fire or anything.

Very very basic arcade fun. Fun for a few hours but don't expect much more, what is here however is very satisfying and fun to play with short runs of a couple of minutes.

It's quite good but very unforgiving and unaccessible. If you want to get in to it you'll have to be prepared to eat ♥♥♥♥ for a good few hours before it starts clicking. Other than that its the only trad roguelike that have hooked me so it has some special sauce for sure.

Great game if you like roguelike deckbuilders! The art and presentation is fantastic and easily the best thing it has going for it, but the rest of the game is very worthwhile as well. With a 10-ish hour campaign with a minimal story it was fun from beginning to end. I do wish however that the card combinations and build variety was a bit bigger. Nonetheless, a pretty easy purchase if you're into these kind of games.

Loved every second of it! It's short but so clever and intriguing in its puzzle design. It's simple but yet challenging at times, a really thin path to walk but they manage it expertly.

I'd never played the original Half life 1 so this was my first dive into the IP and its a great game by all accounts. Fast paced with an interesting plot and setting, a story focused shooter that seldom comes around anymore. It does show its age from time to time, especially in gun combat and some of the traversal puzzles, but overall its a very playable and worthwhile experience.

It's good, a fun ride of about 4-5 hours with some interesting ideas, sadly the novelty carries this game more than its systems that are often a bit underbaked, making the game drag at certain points. Nonetheless a worthwhile experience
