I have been playing this game on and off since it was released in 2011. It has grown and changed with it. I adore this game, but in the same time it is not for everyone. It is a very numbers heavy game, with stable if seperated update cycles. While it isn't in maintaince mode, it is a game that suffers from low players, and the support these players give as best as they can. It is... a slow burn that has drip feeds of the wax from the candle. And remains one of the best MMOs I have ever played.

I am having a tough time trying to think of a review for this game. It sits in a weird place for me but I do think I have to give it a thumbs up. It's full of bugs and weird issues. Poor design choices. Bad story writing. But in the end, it's a good game that feels like it's trying to do something new. Not many WW2 games are told from a Polish perspective, I think the only other one I know of is a bad game and that's Enemy Front, and doesn't really count.

Be warned, there is a bad tank section and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful airplane section. They were really just copying Medal of Honor in some really, really good ways. But at the same time, they copied over some things because they could. We don't need vehicle sections unless they are meant to be set pieces.

My recommendation though, for this dev team actually may sound weird. But while I was playing this game, it felt more like a very active WW1 game. When it felt like that, it was amazing. It was dirty, grungy, you couldn't pop your head up for more than a few minutes before dying. Running at the enemy was always going to end in death. My suggestion then is for them to make a WW1 setting and take that stand to the end. There's plenty of weird weapons they can make and stories left untold. But it would set them apart from the rest. (Or a American Revolution FPS, which would be the very first).

Sincerely, play this game, it's not the best but it's clearly an attempt at something different and for what it's worth it hits the mark.

I remember when I first heard that Medal Of Honor was finally getting a modern update back in 2010. I had grown up devouring Allied Assault, Spearhead, Breakthrough, Pacific Assault, Airborne. These were times when to get a game itself was a massive, exciting affair. You had to go to Gamestop or Target or Best Buy, pick up the CD box, go to the register and pay. Yeah, it's an old memory, but to a kid? That was the most exciting thing that I would do that week. You'd devour the back cover of the box, memorize the art, all on the car ride home. And when it installed you played that game a dozen times, back to back. Medal of Honor is one of those franchises for me.

I never was big into the CoD franchise back in the early 00's, but the modern aspect caught my attention. It wasn't just WW2 afterall. And when I first booted up the game and loaded in, it was entirely different. The game is quieter. It has a few set piece moments where you fly an Apache Helicopter, where you defend against an unending swarm of Al-Quaeda, Taliban, and Chechyen forces, you get shot down in helicopters (twice), but the game itself lacks a general sense of the action film.

And that's entirely on purpose. When EA was developing this game they interviewed real SEAL forces (Which got them and the soldiers into hot water, guess that's what happens when you talk about classified information) to learn the lingo, the mindset, the warfare. The battles here are quick and violent, stay exposed for too long and you end up on the ground, reloads are slow and methodical, no flash to be found here. Your radio has a bit of grain whenever someone speaks. It's not fast, flashly, or outlandish, this game tried to emulate the danger of a Tier One operator faces on the daily basis, and how more often than not, they don't make it back.

This is not a game to play if you want something to do, keep you entertained, not anymore. This was a game made my Danger Close specifically to honor the men and women who fight and die. Not often for country, king, freedom. But for those they fight besides. You only need get to the end credits to see that play out.

I will not tell you about how this game is played, how clunky it is. It can be expensive, so get it on sale, but the feeling that you get at the end, if you even pay attention just a bit to the performance, the meaning, of what Danger Close wanted to tell. You'll know you spent your time and money in a worthwhile game.

Max Payne Three is a book wrapped up in a video game. The story is the main point of this game i feel, with a heacy storyline and a dark, depressing character. Max Payne is a 50 something hell bent on forgetting the past in pain killers and booze, which is excellently shown between the "chapters" or levels of the game. The consistant, and leaning toward annoying, voiceovers that Max does of his own life in reflection add a slight depth to the character as everything he says is in hindsight, noting all the mistakes that he made at the moment and foreshadows what happens next. Changing gears the gameplay is a basic covershooter with one intresting concept of the bullet dodge and bullet time. These features are what make the game stand out among its competition. The bullet dodge allows you to slow time and avoid damage all while gunning down your enemies. I think this is a little overpowered but actully can be a plot point. It shows how Max does not value his own life and just tries to do his job.

Overall i feel that this is a 9\10 game. Excellent story with enough variation in the gameplay to make it intresting.

Early Access Review
DayZ, while only in its infancy is already a great survival game. It forces you to forge for food and water at every turn. Almost every item has a helpful purpose you just have to know how to use it. Weapons are very limited in amount, which suprises me seeing as how this is based on a military encamptment but it does add a flavor to the game making you run from the zombies that find you. I played this game when it was only a mod for Arma 2: combined ops but it was great then and it is now as well.

All in All 9\10 for not being complete yet. Though even though not even 50% (i believe) is implemented yet i have high hopes for this game.

Dragon Age Origins is a game which verly closely resembles a former Bioware title, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Although this can be limiting it is done very well allowing for a somewhat varied gameplay and slightly adding to the replay value of this title. DAO, unlike its sequel, is a well thought out story with relatable characters. The real strength of this game lies in its characters. Each character will leave an impression on your mind. (Much like Mass Effect, another Bioware title). The only issue is the gameplay and its lack of varity, although this may seem to contredict what i said earlier, the game play allows you to choose from three differnt classes and from three difffernt races each with a unique starting story. You can be your basic warrior, a two-handed or a sword and shield straight to the fight character. A mage, who uses magic to slay foes. Lastly, the Rogue who is a character that relies on stealth to get by. My issue with this is that no matter what class you pick all the abilities have similar attributes with a differnt paint job on them. Mostly they are damage and stun kinda of deals.

overall, 9\10 near perfect, get this game worth it

Payday 2 is a unique game where you take on the role of a "villian" rather than a "hero." This game can offer many hours of play, all whilst being completly entertaining. This game can suffer from overplay though, where you play to much to fast, which happend to me which caused the loss of intrest. Other than that it is a solid four-person CO-OP game. There is a leveling system and a prestiege system although to presteige it takes a lot of time and money to acheive. The leveling system in this game is unique as each class is not specificly needed in any given situation only improves the chances of the success of the heist.

Overall, i would give this game a 9\10 mostly because after a while it gets very repetitive unless you have a group of friends to play with. Though to get to that point will take a long time to reach.

The new Tomb Raider reboot is a refreshing change from the pace of the previous Tomb Raider games. The previous games were good, but i feel that this is better. The previous Tomb Raider titles were about a extremly attractive woman going and looting mythical locations. This Tomb Raider paints Lara Croft as a tragic, relucatant hero. All this in keeping with the style of the previous titles. my only grevience with this game is that Lara does not retain the gadgets that i felt made Tomb Raider games. Though they could be fixing this with later additions to the new cannon.

All in All i give this a 8\10 there were some minor flaws but this game is a solid adventure game that is worth your time.

I consider this Total War to be the best of the series, even with its flaws. Empire does a very good job of reecreating battle conditions in the 18th century. The combat does not rely on the speed like Rome 2 does. This is slow combat ment to break an enemy with wall of lead spraying down the field at the enemy. Taking your calvery round the back side of their army and shattering their morale. Storming forts by throwing ropes with grappling hooks over the sides and one by one funneling onto the wall, all whilst lead rains on them from above and mortar and cannon fire pounds their lines. changing gears a little, the world map function is a little minamalistic and at sometimes fustrating. Playing as Great Britan i cannot fathom why Spain would declare war on a profitable trade partner anwond ally. My only greviance with this game is the navel combat sections. luckly you can just auto them and will usually win the battle, but to actually do it is just... Clunky. This style calls for micromanaging that total war games try to avoid.

overall 9/10, cannot go wrong with this game if you want a good 18th combat game this is the best choice that i have seen.
